If I could give 0 stars I would. Stylist burnt off my hair during a simple bleach and tone. She laughed as she told the owner that she left the bleach on my hair for too long while I was still in the chair with bleach in my hair. Two rounds of toner and I left with hair that was 3 different colors. I requested a refund bc she left my hair damaged, discoloured and burnt off. I had to text back and forth with another styles while she was the go between with the owner, he did not even feel it necessary to talk to me at all. Would have been nice to cut out the middleman and talk to the owner directly. They also would not refund me more than 75% of my bill, meaning I still paid the salon for the damage they caused.
At the end of it all, I had to go back to the salon to pick up a paper cheque bc they refused to refund my card. When I got to the bank, the teller showed me the owner had dated the cheque for December 2025, which was a year ahead of the current date (December 2024 when this all happened). So scammy, I don't think the owner wanted me to be able to deposit the check and tried to sabotage the refund.
Now, 7 months later I have 3 inch baby hairs covering my scalp, it will be years before they are as long as the bulk of my hair. They look terrible and they are hard to style. As a blonde I am no stranger to breakage, but this looks like some half-mullet growing out. I do not recommend this salon to anyone, especially blondes looking for a simple bleach and tone.
(Update) The managements response to this review is only to save face. They do not care about customers. If they did they wouldn't laugh about giving customer poor service, the owner would take accountability for his stylists actions instead of hiding behind them, and they would not argue about a refund for a service that left the hair damaged and broken. Lot of people already feel intimidated to speak up about poor service, this is certainly the first time I've ever had to speak up. This salon's tactic is to create road blocks the entire way through the complaint process to slow you down so they don't have to face the consequences of their poor service.

Gina is the best. I went in thinking I needed a full dye but Gina suggested a less harsh method (and was cheaper too) for my hair. She is also great when it comes to cutting my thick hair and knows exactly what to do.

I cannot recommend Michelle enough—she is so amazing and sweet! From the moment you sit in her chair, you feel completely taken care of. She listens carefully to what you want, offers helpful suggestions when you’re unsure, and somehow always manages to make your vision come to life—even better than you imagined.
Her technique is flawless, and you can tell she’s passionate about her craft. Whether it's a simple trim or a full color refresh, Michelle approaches it with so much care and attention to detail. Plus, she’s just a joy to be around! Every appointment feels like catching up with a friend who also happens to be amazing at doing hair.

Just don’t go here. Take a very far detour around Linh in particular, unprofessional. Moreover, support staff is just unhelpful and uninterested even once unsatisfactory results happen. Simply unacceptable.

I finally found my blowout place in DC!! I booked an appointment with a stylist, who after seeing the texture of my hair, decided to swap my appointment with Michelle because she’s the curly hair pro. Anyone with curly hair knows the struggle of getting a blowout that isn’t smooth, so I appreciated this so much. Michelle gave me a gorgeous blowout in literally an hour that lasted the entire night! I’ll 100% be back

This is way, way too expensive for the end result. I had an issue with my hair, and while I appreciated the follow up—it didn’t 100% solve the problem and was pretty difficult overall.
Also didn’t appreciate that the follow up included reference to what appears to be a completely made-up policy that customers have to report any dissatisfaction within 48 hours of the service. That’s posted no where on your website, and no one at the salon ever mentioned such a policy. Given how quickly that would need to be, if such a policy existed, my expectation is that it would be communicated clearly upfront.

Incredible. I just moved here from Boston and was so sad to leave the stylist I was seeing for over a decade. Gina solved that problem for me. The entire staff is awesome and Gina is wildly talent. 10/10!!

New in town and booked an all over highlight and cut. I have been getting this service most of my adult life. Sat down and the stylist barely did a consultation or talked to me about what I like or how I lift. The stylist seemed almost annoyed and acted extremely fast in foiling and dying basically yanking my hair. Was washed and toned by someone else. I booked a cut as well and when I sat back down she didn’t even ask about the cut and just started blowing drying my hair. I didn’t mention anything because at this point I just wanted out of her chair. When I walked up to pay the reception was so rude and said it was like 375 or whatever the charge was for highlight and color. I said I did not get a cut and he said he needed to confirm with the stylist. She came over and was like oh you wanted a cut?!? Like yea I booked it she asked me to come sit back down I said no thanks also like who the hell dry cuts?!?! She walked away and the receptionist was pushing me to tip no thanks. Worst salon experience I’ve ever had in my life.

Honestly the best vibes, and Kia is brilliant with curly cuts. I’ve loved both times I’ve gotten haircuts with her. Unfortunately got a horrific chop by another curly stylist that took a year to grow out, but stick with Kia and you’re golden

Yes, the price isn’t cheap. However, I got a full foil, tone, wash, cut, and blow dry done on my thick hair and it took about 2 hours. I have sat for 4+ hours for the same service, so I’d gladly pay more to be out faster. Linh was great, and I loved the final result. Everyone was professional and friendly.

Blondies is my go-to spot for all things hair! Geneva is my gal for a cut, and Grace has worked miracles with balayage and blonde highlights. I always get compliments! Highly recommend this salon.
Stylist: Grace is an amazing colorist who does incredible balayage, hair painting, and highlight work. She's thorough and careful and has a great eye for what will look natural and get the look you want! Highly recommend!

Grace is phenomenal - the best highlights I've ever had. She was so patient with me and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. I have gotten so many compliments on both the color and cut. I won't go anywhere else.
