Breast Care for Washington is uniquely positioned to impact women’s access to breast cancer screening in the District of Columbia. Our operations were specifically designed to overcome current barriers that prevent low-income, medically underserved women from receiving high quality breast care. Our location in Ward 8 brings services to patient population that previously was hampered from receiving care because of distance to providers and a lack of transportation options. We offer an enhanced level of care coordination for our patients including initiation into screening, assistance with identifying eligibility for public assistance programs and post image navigating services (i.e. biopsies and surgical consult support).

I've scheduled my mammogram with Breast Care for 2025 based on my previous experience. The Mammo-nista was so gentle and created a positive experience. I've had mammograms other places but this is the best pain free, friendly, welcoming place. I recommend it highly!

Most Friendly staff I have ever seen in a Medical field, even tho they get overwhelmed with patients they are wonderful, always make sure you are comfortable with the check up. I am always grateful and Thankful for everyone who works here.
