Their website says they close at 7 so I called to place a pick up order at 6:15. Whoever answered the phone was very rude (rude tone, kept sighing as I was speaking, acted as if I was an inconvenience for trying to patron the place). She said they weren't accepting orders because they had already cleaned the kitchen. 6:15 is a reasonable time for dinner. Don't stay open until 7 if you close the kitchen well before! I've liked their food in the past, but there are many places in DC that sell the same type of food.

The subs are amazing. Our team goes for lunch every week and we'll start talking about how much we're looking forward to it about three days in advance. The half sub is enough for a meal, so don't be put off by the price of the whole one. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who's looking for an awesome sub.

Was looking for a cheesesteak place and this hole in the wall mom n pop shop looked promising. They were out of the cheesesteak and the brisket sandwich that I got instead was probably the worst sandwich I have ever had. The bread was untoasted so it just fell apart into mush immediately. The brisket was barely above room temperature. The cheese was unmelted. The pickled veggies on top were tasteless. AND it was $14 for just a half sandwich! Wholly disappointing.

This place has gone completely down hill and not even edible. The management and staff are extremely disrespectful and chaotic. I waited for a sandwich to be made, opened it to eat immediately and the bread was literally wet. I asked for them to remake the sandwich that wasn’t even edible. They were completely rude. I never wanted a refund. I just wanted a proper sandwich that I ordered. They don’t even make there chips from scratch anymore. This place used to be one of my favorites and now is not even edible.

Why is a sandwich $24 here? I've had comparable sandwiches for $18. Yes, Bub and Pop's are good. The Italian and the Cheesesteak are good. There is no (0) choices of cheese for either. Also, I would have liked for the meat and onions in the Philly to be chopped more. $24? I doubt I will be ordering either again.

A little hesitant when I saw the price but when I saw someone else’s, I stuck it out. Hands down best sandwich I’ve ever had. And the ONLY meatball sub I’ve ever enjoyed.

I discovered this amazing gem a few years ago while on my lunch break. The sandwiches were always fresh and served with a smile.Today I had the pleasure of meeting Chef John and was able to finally give my compliments to the chef in person.The entire staff is magnificent, Sunny and Ebony are so friendly. Come here if you want a great fresh sandwich.

I decided to pay this place a visit based on the reviews and was so disappointed. The biggest disappointment was the roll. It was super soft and soggy. I asked for light onions and was told that light onions is subjective so they couldn't do it. Either you get onions or not. I also asked for extra tomato which I guess "extra" isn't subjective. The tomatoes are Roma if that means anything to anyone, they aren't the best for sandwiches. Asked for lettuce and got arugula. I'm all for trendy greens but not on my cheesesteak. Last but certainly not least, the young woman in the little order window was rude, very short, and not helpful. All in all not worth the price. We paid ove 50 bucks for soggy slop. I do not recommend this place.

I’ve been here before and today I paid cash for a half eggplant parm sandwich. I get that baked subs take longer, but I waited a full 25 minutes without a heads up and it’s 40 degrees outside. Common courtesy would be to give a heads up about the wait time. I would have gone inside to wait somewhere else. Instead I was standing in the cold for 25 mins and when I said Hey can a get cookie since I waited 25 minutes out here they said no. Custom service is terrible here.

Ordered Bib and Pop's on DoorDash order was incredibly disappointing in terms of value. I paid $72, including tip and tax, for two half subs, two orders of chips (which turned out to be basic potato chips priced at $7 each), and a small container of sour cream dip for $5. While the food was decent, the prices were outrageously high and felt like a rip-off.

The Grinders are good but there's too much of everything on them IMO. The ordering is such that you have to tell them what you don't want on the sandwich. The woman taking my order seemed annoyed and told me "this isn't subway". The turkey and provolone was swimming in vinaigrette. Not the best experience. Tried twice but won't be back.
