Brides, think twice (or ten times) before walking into this shop. I bought my wedding dress here, and it didn’t fit because they clearly recorded the wrong measurements. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner and staff accused me of gaining two dress sizes (which is false and offensive) and tried to charge me thousands to fix their mistake. The experience was extremely stressful and emotionally exhausting. Don’t be misled by their initial warmth, once something goes wrong, they refuse to take accountability. Do not trust this boutique.
Update based on Carine’s response below: this is a perfect example of the gaslighting I’ve experienced throughout the process. I never put on weight, never signed off on my measurements (red flag!), and they even refused to send me the measurements they took (double red flag). The only solution they offered was for me to pay thousands to fix their mistake. Massive scam. Avoid at all costs.

I had the most amazing experience with Grace and Samantha. Carine’s Bridal was my first appointment of the day, and while I didn’t end up getting my dress there, I almost didn't give my second fitting a fair shot because the experience Grace and Samantha provided was leaps and bound above the competition. Ultimately, my choice came down to cost, but I can’t say enough about the incredible experience I had. Everything about it was perfect, from the decor to the atmosphere, to the dress selection, and of course, the people. I highly recommend Carine’s for every bride in the DMV!

I have nothing but great things to say about Carine's Bridal! I had a great time trying on dresses with Shira (she is the BEST!!) and alterations. Very happy with the whole experience!

Working with Grace at Carine's was the best bridal shop experience I had. I was devastated that I actually ended up falling in love with a gown by a designer that Carine's does not carry and did not buy from them, but Grace was actually the most patient, non-pushy, most enjoyable person to work with and the overall experience was by far and away lightyears better than so many other bridal salons with strict rules, pushy salespeople etc.. I would send anyone I know looking for a wedding gown or accessories to Carine's!!

I had the best experience here! From my first appointment through alterations and pick up, everything was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful and it made the dress buying experience extremely special :)

After visiting several places in the area this was by FAR my best experience (and where I found my dress!) Grace was the best stylist I’ve worked with and was basically a mind reader—didn’t rush us, but didn’t waste any time, let us try on a ton of dresses, and gave us space. Definitely book with her!!! So glad we found this shop.

Carine's was the first place I tried on dresses and they made it such an easy and stress free experience! I had a mix of specific dresses I wanted to see, while also really having no idea what I was doing and their staff was so patient.
Huge shout out to Kate who helped me during my appointment, she went above and beyond to get me in a dress that I had seen on Pinterest but wasn't currently in the store, reaching out to the designer before an upcoming trunk show to ensure they had it.
Kate was super kind, made me feel so comfortable, and listened to my opinions while also being kind and inclusive to my guests. I was really blown away by her expert mix of professionalism and reasonability.
I have now recommended Carine's to at least 3 of my close friends!

Kate is a STAR-- knowledgeable, responsive, super friendly. She gave helpful advice every time I asked for it, and went above and beyond throughout the process, in person and over the phone, from the moment we entered the store for the first time, to out the door with dress in hand! (I got my alterations elsewhere, customers should know that she is not in charge of the alterations, which might be why reviews say that experience can be more difficult). Thanks to Kate I had a great experience, actually even better than great, amazing, and she is the reason I would highly recommend Carine's!

Amazing experience at Carine’s. They actually let you walk around and touch / feel the dresses with your stylist so you’re not at the mercy of someone else’s judgement. They also carry Mira Zwilinger which is super hard to come by. I’ve been to the top bridal atteliers in NYC and Carine’s had the same selection but much more personable stylists and comfortable environment. I worked with Kate who was an angel. She listened to all my preferences / concerns and helped me feel confident. She also took great pictures and spent the time to try on 10 dresses when the other ateliers only allowed 5. Fantastic experience all around!

I'm so grateful to the team at Carine's for making my dress vision come true! Magdalena and Adriana were patient, kind and lovely to work with and were always reassuring when I had questions or concerns. They were also always so cheerful which helped with any nerves I had! My dress was truly spectacular thanks to them!

I was a bit disappointed with my appointment at Carine’s. I chose this store because I wanted to try on beautiful dresses from quality designers and see what styles suited me best, without a specific budget in mind. I was open to sale items if a particular dress caught my interest, but this wasn’t my main goal. I paid for the appointment, expecting to see and try on any dress I liked.
However, I was only shown sale dresses, some of which even appeared dirty. After trying on a few, none of them felt right, so I asked to see other options. I was told that I couldn’t try on any more as there was another appointment scheduled after mine. It felt like the dresses I was shown were ones no one else wanted, with some even having small holes under the arms, and they didn’t match the style I had described I was looking for.
In the end, I left the store feeling disappointed and as though I had wasted my time. For a first shopping experience, I wish I had chosen a store that offered a more enjoyable and curated experience.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR ALTERATIONS. If you can’t purchase the dress and have it altered elsewhere, it’s worth finding the dress somewhere else. Their alterations are horrendous for a store that sells such high quality dresses.

Highly recommend. One of the best experiences I’ve had while looking for a wedding dress. I had the pleasure of working with Ella and Magdalena who were absolutely amazing. Exactly the experience and customer service I am looking for. Couldn’t recommend coming here more!!!

I had my first dress ever shopping appointment and the lady was the rudest person I have ever met and completely ruined it for me. She was so passive aggressive about where to put your hands and just seemed completely disinterested. If you want a joyful experience don’t come here
