Do not invest with these clowns, they will make sure the retail investors die. These mooks fleased me for 19% over 2 days because of there small account destructive policies. Placing orders you do not authorize arbitrarily to ensure loses and keep you down. TD Ameritrade was a great and far brokerage who looked out for there investors, and we took care of the company. SWAB IS DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE SMALL ACCOUNT HOLDER!!!! If you are under $250k, they make sure you stay there.

This office is a bit difficult to get to, I live in pg county Maryland in district heights, and of course there is no office anywhere near my area. I had to park and walk a pretty far distance, and the building has not chosen to have handicap accessible doors. I explained what I needed to the banker, they told me they could help me and got me the paperwork. Upon further inspection at home, however, it was not correct

Schwab has proven to be more concerned with selling its advisory services than with providing timely investment guidance. I had been a Schwab private client but terminated that relationship due to lack of responsiveness and failure to provide proactive guidance from Schwab's team. Though Schwab gives lip-service to fiduciary responsibility it does not provide adequate supervision of its investment advisors, As such, it is easy for an advisor to male recommendations that are not suitable in light of evolving economic conditions and changing circumstances for individual clients.

I called the office on Monday to get simple answers about Roth IRAs accounts I have with Schwab. I was told I could possibly get an appointment a week out. I expressed my urgency for a meeting, and an appointment was setup Weds afternoon with an advisor.Weds. morning I received a call stating that The advisor was out sick, and an appointment was rescheduled with The advisor Thursday morning. The appointment time came and went - no call. About an hour later, the advisor called, but I was deep in work for the day, and could not call back until later in the day - but I was put in voicemail.I called the main number and spoke to the rep answering calls. He setup an appointment for me to talk to A different advisor Friday afternoon. The appointment time comes and goes, no call.I call the office again, and The rep apologizes and offers to setup an appointment the following week - my response is I need to speak to somebody that day.UPDATE: I did get a call on Friday, and my questions were answered.

Have been a loyal and happy Schwab account holder for years until last week. Submitted an application for a new account. Used secure messaging as I was instructed. The message went missing in the Schwab system and they have no idea where my application and sensitive information is now sitting. How does a tech company lose customer files uploaded via secure messaging? It's no fault of this branch but beware: Schwab seems to be slipping in their customer care.

This review isn't specifically about this branch (although someone at this branch helped me set up my account, and he was awesome), as it is about Schwab's amazing customer service. Yesterday, I called the cust serv 800 no. with a question about the difference between two ticker symbols of this one international stock. Although the rep I first spoke with wasn't able to help me, she quickly transferred me to a broker who could, and I didn't sit on hold for even three minutes. The broker solved my problem in a snap, and I'm a happy shareholder today. I'm a massive advocate of youngsters investing, so if you're looking to start, even if you have very little money, look no further than Charles Schwab (unless you're really broke, then look to Sharebuilder. I had a good experience with them, but had to switch to Schwab because of my job). Excellent customer service, decently priced trades, and a pretty easy-to-navigate website. Highest regards!
