I’ve always had a great experience at this location. It can get a little crowded on Sundays, so you might want to go on a different day if you’re able and need more help. The staff is pretty knowledgeable, and they ask other staff members if they don’t know the answer.

We had an amazing experience buying shoes with Donna—both my fiance and I have absolutely obliterated feet and have issues finding shoes that work. With Donna’s help, we found shoes that let us walk all around DC without a problem (for the first time in probably ever)! Thank you so much, you’re the best!

The staff are very helpful and the 2 pairs of shoes I got are extremely comfortable. They also just sell inserts, if someone needs that.I highly recommend

I had a great experience with Donna at this store! Very straightforward, knowledgable, and no pushy up-selling. I had a wonderful time trying on shoes and buying a pair I loved! I will be back for more purchases.

I have always loved the service at Comfort One and have bought quite a few shoes there over the years. They really do have the nicest staff. However, they really need to start paying better attention to the quality of the brands they sell. At the high price point of their shoes a customer has a right to expect quality, not shoes sold as "genuine leather" that start peeling a few months after purchase, as has happened to me twice in the last few years. To their credit, the salesperson offered me a refund the first time it happened but I had already binned the shoes and declined. Now that it's happened again, I am afraid to ever purchase "leather" shoes there again. I've had decent luck with their non-leather shoes and their durability is about average for modern shoes. They have lots of attractive and very comfortable shoes, but they need to take a hard look at their suppliers.

Stumbled upon the store walking around DC and stopped in looking for new shoes to help with some foot pain. Cindy was incredibly helpful providing me with a ton or options and great advice. She was amazing and I’m super happy with my purchase.

Brad was spectacular! He was very professional and took the time needed to find the perfect shoe for me. My experience was very enjoyable. This was my second visit to this location and the other sales people showed equal dedication to a job well done. I will most certainly be back!

Brad was very helpful and kind enough to give me a replacement pair of On cloudrunner shoes after the pair i bought from them 3.5 months ago got a shear tear (probably due to a manufacturing defect) in the inside fabric of the right shoe. Now im ready for my half marathon next week :)

I'm always down to support a local business. Their foot scan machine is incredibly comprehensive and gives a lot of good info that you can take with you. Brad was very knowledgeable and explained what the scan's results meant (my partner needed inserts to combat diff arch sizes). He also patiently helped my partner try on a variety of shoe sizes and styles. It was just a friendly atmosphere with great customer service!

I don't know that much about shoes, so I decided to go here to get a new pair. I usually go through three to four pairs of shoes a year, so I was looking for something more durable. The staff was very helpful, and stood by while I tried on not only five but six pairs of shoes. The pair I wear now have lasted more than 8 months, which is unheard of based on all the walking I do. Would highly recommend!!

Great service when selecting and purchasing initially but when I had to make a return it was quick and easy but barley got a hello, sorry didn’t work out…etc just some common pleasantries is a normal expectation, it was like a passive aggressive attitude because I needed to return them. I would hope for the same pleasantries as when some one is purchasing same as when they need to return.
