I've been attending Corepower for almost 2 years and have always had a great experience but unfortunately the CityCenter location is just unacceptable. The studios smell AWFUL constantly (and not just during/after class - I get that sweat/body odor can produce smells but this was the room itself and not coming from any individual) and are not properly aired out or cleaned. If it's a ventilation issue in the building, class sizes need to be reduced (we were packed in there). The number of cancellations by instructors is also astounding - for a 4:30pm class today, it was silent-cancelled online and at 4-4:15pm became a 4:45pm class with a different instructor (idk how Corepower does this without emailing us of the change) and the studio was locked until 4:30, so a whole group of us just stood in the lobby to be let in for 30 minutes with no idea what was happening. I absolutely love Corepower and the CityCenter instructors but the studio cleanliness is a major deterrent.

This studio is so pretty, super spacious with big windows! I was in town for a week and it’s honestly one of the nicest cpy studios I’ve visited. The class was amazing and instructor, Thet San was just incredible .. her energy made whole experience even better!

I’ve been attending CorePower Yoga at City Center for months now, and it’s been such a positive experience. The community that shows up to these classes makes it incredibly easy to stay motivated—everyone is encouraging, open, and welcoming. It truly feels like a space where people support one another.
The trainers are exceptional. They keep the routines fresh and engaging while breaking down the moves to ensure everyone understands. They also go above and beyond by checking our positions during class to help prevent injury, which I deeply appreciate. Some even add thoughtful touches, like fanning us with scented towels at the end of class, making the experience feel extra special.
If you’re looking for a holistic approach to health, this is absolutely the place to be. However, one thing I’ve noticed is a lack of racial diversity in the classes. It often feels like it caters to a single target demographic, and I’m not sure if this is due to marketing strategies or a lack of community outreach. I hope this is something they work on in the future, as a more inclusive environment would make this amazing space even better.
Overall, I highly recommend CorePower Yoga at City Center for anyone looking to improve their health in a supportive, uplifting community.

The best! The staff here is super friendly, helpful, and top-notch. I’ve visited Corepower Yoga locations around the country and feel like the instructors here are in a league of their own!
The studio is big and has lots of natural light which is a big plus, as well as a nice variety of class offerings. It’s centrally located downtown and a 5 minute walk to/from the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro which makes it super convenient to get to!

This was my first time at a corepower in DC. The staff was so nice, it was a great location and cool studio. However, it might have been one of the worst yoga classes I have taken. The instructor was very kind but was not a great teacher. Would go back but maybe skip the sculpt class.

I did a drop in class while visiting DC from NJ. It was much needed. This class was not for the weak at heart.I would definitely visit whenever back in DC.

I am a "black tag" member from Southern California. I came to DC on a biz trip and came to the City Center CPY while was in DC. I took a few C2 classes and enjoyed everything -- loved the studio look and feel. Loved the rooms. The locker room was clean and tidy. Thank you for making City Center Studio my home studio while I was away! :)

I had a fantastic experience! I come from Germany and we just don't have this kind of cool, dynamic, fun classes there, it was awesome! I felt so refreshed, energized and motivated after Sculpt at CityCenterDC. It was clean and studios on the second floor overlooking the street were light and spacious. I LOVED the playlist too, great music!

The CorePower studio located in City Center is my favorite location. It's located above ground, which allows for natural light. The studio is always clean. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun. Con: The lockers do not have numbers on them. It's important to remember what's next to my locker.

Always a great experience at this location. Most recently I tried their no heat yoga sculp. By the end you could have fooled me with the no-heat claim, I had worked up a sweat just fine!

First off, Mandy is amazing! I have been seriously weight training for several years and CPY's YS Yoga Sculpt challenges me every single time. I always leave that experience feeling very centered, highly motivated, and like I can conquer anything!

I have been a founding member of Corepower since they first opened their first studio in GT. I have always had issues with the cleanliness of the studios. It all depended on the manager of the studio at the time since they do not have professional cleaners. Two days ago I took a class at the CityCenter location which is my favorite studio and it was so dirty and gross. Bathrooms were absolutely filthy with hair all over the floor and even inside the studio there was a thick layer of dust at the ledger and it completely grossed you out when you try to practice. I told the manager but she was dismissive. There is no way to contact the headquarters since they never respond to you. Plus, there are not as many classes scheduled anymore since they opened back up after the pandemic. I am very disappointed. I hate to write a poor review but I am hoping they pay attention because I used to love this place and I have continued my membership to help support them even though I have not been taking as many classes since after they opened post pandemic but I’m not sure if I want to keep my monthly membership going anymore
