All of my belongings were stolen while I attended my first ever C2 class at the Corepower Georgetown location. The front doors are presumedly locked and I put my stuff in the designated cubby area right outside of the class I attended. My purse, phone, wallet, keys were all stolen along with my clothes. Another woman was there attending her first ever class and all of her belongings were stolen as well. Corepower took zero responsbility despite having let someone get through their locked main entrance and into the back of the studio, did not assist the police with providing security footage, and left us in a state of total panic with zero resources as our credit cards, phone, and important items were all taken. They have made no attempt to find out who took the items, so it could be a student that still goes there, and instructor, or someone that they let in to use the restroom. The studio is extremely unsafe and I would not recommend any woman or person to be in that space.

Save yourself the extreme misfortune/expense and do not go here. All of my belongings were stolen while I attended my first ever C2 class at the Corepower Georgetown location. The studio is extremely unsafe and I would not recommend any woman or person to be in that space.

There manager at this location creates a stressful negative environment. The facility is not clean and the classes are often overpacked to the point that the exercises are inappropriate and unsafe for the amount of space available. If you have your card on file, ? watch out for false charges without consent. There have been classes where no staff member shows and members have been charged for the class despite the no show without relief from the manager. Awful.

Corepower Yoga went down the hill since after they opened back up after covid. I used to go regularly to C1 classes and the one CR class that they offered in my area. The instructors used to be good and seem to care more about teaching the right way, now don't seem to put as much effort, some of them cannot even do yoga poses properly because they are not able to do it them selves yet and out of shape (the people who come to C1/CR are able to do more than the trainer sadly). Also, last class I joined, the guy was cracking jokes when we are supposed to be focusing on our breathing. I wanted to started going regularly again, but I just don't feel like I am getting the same benefit as I did before.

I’ve been to this location a few times and each time I find that the floors in the studios have a good amount of hair and a film of dirt. I also noticed that the showers are not cleaned between classes. I have noticed the drains were clogged with hair on a few occasions. The classes are good but it very much depends on the instructor. Also, it is worth noting that the classes are sometimes “at capacity” and they will turn people away who have signed up because there is zero space between mats/people in the studio. I think this is too much. They should manage this better. They shouldn’t let a bunch of people walk in and then turn away those who signed up. The classes also shouldn’t be so packed that people have to navigate around hitting each other, especially coming out of the pandemic. Each class is heated, which is kind of unbelievable given that it only decreases the quality and flow of air and thus increases your chances of catching whatever illnesses people may bring to the session. While you can wear a mask, it’s not ideal given how hot the room is and with everyone huffing and puffing nearly on top of one another it’s not much help. This studio really needs to manage overcrowding because it detracts from everyone’s experience and that is not fair given how expensive each session is. It’s certainly not a stress free zone.

There are some good instructors at this location but the studio overpacks it’s classes. The weekend sculpt class taught by Olivia is uncomfortably packed and because it’s a heated studio it’s even more uncomfortable to breathe. People are mat to mat (not even inches apart) for that particular class. I’ve seen people who signed up turned away because they let too many walk ins join. It’s actually pretty gross in terms of vibe and not at all hygienic. People hardly have room to do the exercises, and they are often overly complicated for a mixed group of expertise. Ashley’s classes are packed too but there is usually at least some inches distance between mats. It would be helpful if this studio could advertise what the capacity for each class looks like so that people are not uncomfortable when they attend or , shockingly, turned away after signing up. General yoga 1-2 classes are not as packed but the instructors for those classes are just okay.. The dupont location and city center location do not seem to overpack their classes , but I suppose their management is handling class capacity better.

My first time ever trying yoga sculpt and it has been life-changing! I love the energy in all the classes and the feeling I get after every session. I recommend it 100%

Elizabeth is such an amazing person. My friends and I stopped by just to ask questions and she greeted us with open arms and we ended up discussing life and our yoga practice during the pandemic. She suggested doing the c1 class to get back in the grove of things. We laughed and had such a good time. You guys have such a great employee there!!
