I had a great first CorePower class with Tash A.! While I haven’t been to other CorePower studios, this one seemed great—clean, well-lit, and perfectly warm for a hot yoga class! Though, as with most classes, the structure of the class and feedback from the instructor was the best part!

My wife and I signed up for a Free class online. We showed up to the studio prior to the class time and they informed us that it was no longer a free class and I had to pay for it. The instructor informed us that they cancelled our spot in the class. It would’ve been nice to have gotten an email or phone call ahead of time so we couldve planned our day differently versus finding out when we showed up.

Came here for a candlelight core and restore class. It was conducted with the overhead lights blazing away. Of course there were actually candles in the room ...which gave a feel of "Lit the candles Boss!" This is not how any other studio I have ever been to does things. I was expecting a relaxed dim atmosphere with lighting provided by candlelight and only or mostly candlelight. This made the whole experience annoying and un relaxing. On top of that the stretches were not deep, and the sequencing did not feel coherent. This chain charges $30 per class, provides no mats or towels, can't the money go towards a quality atmosphere?

I went to this location for the first time today and compared to other CorePower studios, this one is definitely inferior -- the studios are fluorescent and feel dirty, and the entire space smells like a bathroom. The class itself was pretty good, but considering the cost of CorePower, I think a lot could be done to make the space feel on-brand with the Georgetown, Glover Park, etc. locations.

This studio offers such an improved experience from others in the area. When you walk in, it smells clean, so that's already a huge plus. The people are friendly and remember your name (hi Chloe!), which is so nice and creates an awesome neighborhood feel. I love that the lockers come with locks, so you don't need to bring your own and there's no running out of communal locks. I love the smaller studios so you can actually hear what the instructors are saying, doesn't matter if you're in the front or back of the room. The sound system works great, not too loud or bass-y. The heat (or lack of) problem they had for a bit has since been fixed and it is perfect - I love that there's enough heat to warm my muscles but I actually break a sweat from doing some tough flows and serious core workouts. Try Chloe's C2 class and see if you can even move your legs the next morning (Hello, toned thighs, nice to see you again). My one gripe is that I wish parking were a bit easier. I'd plan on arriving 30 minutes early just to circle and deal with Wisconsin Ave traffic. ***Mat rentals/towels/water are $2/piece so don't forget to bring your own!***

I was really excited when I saw that CorePower opened a studio close to my house. I took a class yesterday and the teacher was lovely. However, the music was so loud one could barely hear him speak. The studio is still undergoing renovations as the heat and the lights do not work quite yet. I decided to return today for a 6PM class. I showed up at the door at 5:52PM. And it was locked. No one was at the reception. There was a post-it (see picture). I waited and knocked on the door very loudly... Maybe they should have left the number on the post-it...

I have taken a sculpt class with one of the staff members at another location before. The atmosphere was uplifting, transitions were smooth, and coaching was individualized as noted through progress on my handstands. Even though they haven’t had any classes at this location yet I can attest that this Core Power will have a highly trained, experienced, personable staff in a great location and I can’t wait to catch a class while in town
