The pharmacy doesn’t seem to fill any prescriptions without you showing up to ask for them and then waiting for half an hour for them to be filled. I even tried calling an hour in advance for a prescription that was sent over two days prior but it didn’t help at all. They appear to be under staffed.
I also had a challenging (and frankly bizarre) interaction with the pharmacist where he appeared to be more focused on being right than about helping me. At one point, for example, I told him multiple times that I did not need a particular medication and each time he responded by asking me whether I wanted ten or twenty pills. It was as if he could not hear a word I said.

No way to contact pharmacist other than in person. Had to leave 2 voicemails. Recording for voicemail had a commitment for one hour call back. Did not get callback until the next day (more than 24 hours later). Overworked staff. Had to go in person to get status. Prescription from day before was not logged in. Had to get my doctor’s office to call again. Staff was friendly but location was understaffed.

This CVS is always getting a bad rap. Although the lines are usually long at the pharmacy, which could simply be a reflection of the time of day, the team does work hard and carefully to ensure the proper distribution of meds. After the wait, I always have a pleasant experience and am sure to thank whomever assists me for being there! I know it’s their job, but I can’t imagine dealing with some of the customers’ attitudes that I’ve witnessed.

Worst pharmacy ever. You’ve got to call to make sure they process your order cause they’re not checking. If you ever get through they don’t listen. If you finally get heard and are told your prescription will be ready between 5 and 6 pm that’s a lie. At 6:45 we are 15 people in line and nothing is ready.

I had a great experience. My insure denied my Covid medication but thanks to a pharmacist by the name of Mr. Sanchez who followed up with me and gave assistance which allowed me to get help from Pfizer to get my meds at no cost!

This CVS Pharmacy is the worst I have ever dealt with. They keep you on hold for 20 minutes just to fulfill a simple request.I called the store to have my prescription sent to another location. My doctor inadvertently sent my prescription to this location without confirming with me. I called the store because on the website it reported that my prescription was in process - it kept this status for a full day. Finally, after being placed on hold for 20 minutes, I was told that they would put the prescription on hold, so that the other CVS could pick it up and process the request. After about 30 minutes I called the preferred CVS only to find out that the original CVS didn't do as requested. I called back only to be placed on hold again for 20 minutes, but I was told that they would put the prescription on hold. Needless to say, this was done to no avail as I called the preferred CVS again after 45min. to only find out once again that the original CVS again didn't place the order on hold as requested a second time. I'm at a complete loss. Btw, the preferred CVS answered their phone immediately - both times. They also called me back to tell me that they were still waiting for the hold to be placed after an hour. The CVS on Bladensburg Rd. is the worst

The employee Diamond was absolutely horrible. Very crass and disrespectful. She behaved like she is certain of her job security at CVS. Highly unprofessional and rude. I’m contacting corporate.

The worst CVS I have ever used. Routinely wait on hold for over an hour on the phone, and they lose my prescriptions all the time. They clearly need more staff.

AVOID THIS PLACE. They take 30 minutes to answer the phone, when you get someone, they are rude and just put people back on hold. They are the most unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and switch to an online pharmacy like Amazon Pharmacy. These guys do not deserve your business or your money.

I have never once been able to get in touch with pharmacy staff over the phone. The call will sit on hold indefinitely.

From the limited variety of everyday goods to the worst Pharmacy Tech's ever in the history of CVS Pharmacy Tech's, I wouldn't suggest this CVS unless you are like and and it's walking distance from where you live. When I was contacted by the General Manager about the lack of customer service and the unprofessional Pharmacy Tech's, I was told, "Well, it used to be worse. This location has come a long way." Excuse me? Are you excusing the ratchet-a$$ Pharmacy Tech's Sir?!

Seriously the worst cvs I have ever visited. They never fill my prescription unless I call to ask them about it! And that's when the pharmacy ACTUALLY answers the phone! Additionally, the store does not look very clean at all. The one saving grace is that the employees outside of the pharmacy are helpful.
