If I could give a 0 star rating, I definitely would have chosen that rating instead. I always go to this CVS because it's very convenient and close, plus it's a 24/7 store. Went in @6:20 am on 10/11/2023, looking to buy some beverages for myself. As I was searching, I was also looking at my CVS app for any deals. As I walked to another section where that had other beverages, a manager named Ali asked if I need help. I said "no I am okay." He then proceeded to tell me that I can't be roaming the store, making me feel uncomfortable and like I wasn't wanted in the store. I then canceled my plans to purchase anything from the store and left. Will not be shopping here ever again.

They wanted $299 for 15 tablets of a medication I got from Costco with 30 tablets for just $20. That is 30x higher when you consider quantity. This is outrageous and blatant price gouging. Shame on CVS!

This was convenient for me. I had just attended a work even nearby and needed to get myself some items that I had run out. It would figure, I just move and the next day I am on a work trip assignment. Granted, I was only a few miles from home, but I couldn't run home as I was staying in a nearby hotel for this work assignment.I came in here to grab a few items I definitely needed, and try to make it quick. Luckily for me, what I needed they actually had it in stock and I wasn't without for an extended period of time. However, after looking around the rest of the store you can tell it is hit or miss with items. Some were sparse or missing altogether. It's kind of like 'press your luck' when coming in here.I grabbed a few other things to hold me over while being away from home (even if I was still close). I made my way up front, utilized the self-checkout, got my mile long receipt and I was out the door soon thereafter. My stop was near the end of the night so it wasn't as busy as I suspect this place can be. That could also be why the item selection was sparse througout.

This store needs help with training employees on customer service. Dropped some eggs in front of a CVS representative as I was bagging my order. I cleaned it up myself without any help. He never offered to help or showed no sign of empathy. Me: Can I get another one?CVS: You're the one that dropped it.Me: It was an accident. CVS: We can give you store credit. Me: I'm going to grab another one, if you have an issue with it then get a manager(As I was walking away) CVS: I am a manager. I got the eggs and left. I didn't believe he was a manager because he never offered to help clean up the eggs. He just stood there as I cleaned it during our conversation. This employee should have more training with customer service. If he was a manager, that store has bigger problems.

Well Stocked Store! I'm not sure if I've written a review for this CVS prior. I visited (11/26/22) this store located literally across the street from The DuPont Circle-it has two levels for shopping. Level 1: food, personal hygiene (dental, shaving e.t.c.) & beauty care (makeup e.t.c.). Level 2: household (laundry, cleaning, paper towels e.t.c.) first aid, cold, pain relief products. The pharmacy is also located on level 2. This CVS has a wide variety of products. More than other area stores I visited recently. I found what I needed after asking a store associate. Great customer service & speedy checkout.

Came here to get a non-covid vaccination as the place I usually go to is inexplicably out of this vaccine. Haven't been here for a while and always thought of the place as small and messy, being in a busy area right on DuPont Circle. However I was very pleasantly surprised. When I walked in the door there was a greeter who directed me where to go. The pharmacy is on the second floor via an escalator. The entire second floor is quite spacious and even has a minute clinic. I had made an appointment online so there was no wait whatsoever. Better still they also have a small private room to administer the vaccine, unlike many other pharmacies where there's only a partial partition at best. I'll definitely use this pharmacy again for vaccinations next time. (For the time being however they are out of the latest covid vaccine and won't restock for another week or two).

I know, I know - this was almost not worth my time to provide yet another bad review about CVS. There are countless other bad reviews of that company and its NON-EXISTENT customer service. Each time I enter a CVS, no matter which store I am in, the customer service is worse than the time before. Just when I think the quality of service cannot get any lower, CVS manages to hit another low water mark. They did not miss this last time I went to the 6 Dupont Circle location. The store was dirty. The shelves were a complete mess. The smell of weed from outside the store was incredible. The employees that I saw were mostly gossiping about their personal lives or - seriously - making fun of the customers! There were long lines snaking through the check out area. But, when I got to the pharmacy, there was only 1 person in front of me so I thought that bode well for my visit. I was wrong. Forty five minutes later, both myself and the person in front of me, were sweating, rolling our eyes and wondering what the heck all of those people behind the counter were doing BECAUSE THEY SURE AS HECK WERE NOT WAITING ON US!!!!!!!!! When someone finally came up to wait on the person in front of me, the communication could NOT have been worse. Rude. Uninterested. Uncaring. Lacking simple skills in her job. Honestly, I suppose there is one thing for CVS to feel good about here - no matter the store, no matter the time of day, no matter what I am purchasing there, the customer service is always abysmal. Always! So, I suppose that CVS should feel good that it consistently provides the WORST customer service of any store, anywhere. If there was another pharmacy reasonably close, I would never go back to CVS but, of course, there is not. So, when I am forced to get a prescription immediately (like I was this time) and not wait for my mail order pharmacy, I have to go to CVS. And I guess that is why CVS is still in business. Because people get sick and they need medicine. Other than that, CVS - especially the 6 Dupont Circle - is the worst retail establishment I have ever shopped in.

In an era where even visiting an OB-GYN feels like an act of subversion, it is highly disturbing to be refused a prescription for birth control by an ornery, sneering pharmacist. Unfortunately, that is what happened to me today. I went to the pharmacy in person tonight to refill my prescription, only to be greeted by a very gruff pharmacist who I believe was named Mina. He insisted that my prescription was not in the system. When I told him my doctor confirmed she sent it, he shrugged and told me it wasn't there. I asked if the pharmacy dept can call the clinic (as every single other CVS has done for me when this happened in the past) and he refused. He told me to have the doctor call him. I asked for a number, and he shrugged again, and said "the general one". I asked for him to give me a card or write it down to be sure, and he refused. I left. I walked to the 14th Street CVS location, where miraculously, the pharmacist not only had my refill in the system, but gave me my prescription in a matter of minutes. He said he had no idea why the staff at the Dupont location was unable to find this or why they refused to assist or give me further information. When something looks like a dog, walks like a dog, and barks like a dog, it's probably a dog. Given the current climate when it comes to women's health and basic freedoms, I would recommend avoiding this CVS at all costs, at least if Mina is on duty and you are trying to buy anything remotely related to "women's health".

I came here because I needed travel vaccines for an upcoming trip and the appointment was easy to make online. There was no wait on the day I came and it was nice to be able to see a health professional on the weekend. The nurse practitioner that handled my visit was really informative on which vaccines I needed and which ones I didn't so that I didn't pay for anything that wasn't necessary. Some of the vaccines are only available in a travel clinic so I will have to make a separate appointment to get the other vaccines. The medical room looked and felt just like a regular doctor's office so it didn't seem sketchy or low-end. They do a whole lot of other services for regular care and exams so if you need to pop in for some medical care, see what MinuteClinic has to offer. Again, I really appreciate being able to go on a weekend when most other offices are closed. And my insurance paid for the whole visit and the vaccines I got.

They filled and charged me for a prescription I did not ask for and took no responsibility for their error. No apology, nothing--just I should have checked it when I picked it up.

I had to beg someone a the front o the store to unlock the dental floss THREE times, but there was a woman in there threatening to harm people. She is screaming and yelling all these threats. I won't go back there any time soon. I don't usually shop at that particular location. The staff I encountered was rude, and I as a customer did not feel safe at that store.

I received my third and fourth Covid shot from Terri, who was ultra professional, friendly, caring and efficient. I had called a couple of days ago and spoke with her on the phone to adjust the time of my appointment. I was scheduled for a bit later in the morning, but she had said that she could take me earlier in the morning. I arrived, and she not only took me (And painlessly administered my 4th Covid and pneumonia shots) but was also able to readily take my partner, as well, who did not have an appointment. I enthusiastically recommend CVS pharmacy In DuPont Circle as a place for vaccines.

On two floors with a large variety of items from food to polls. Offers Moderna booster vaccin at the moment. Has two bathrooms. Staff is pleasant. The inside decor is passé and obsolete: quite depressing!
