Why are prescriptions never ready. I got a text alert 2 days ago that my prescription was ready. I arrive at 5 pm and I'm told it'll be ready in 90 minutes. I return 2 hours later and it's still not ready. It happens every time. Go somewhere else, I recommend Kentucky Ave Safeway in SE.

I cannot stress enough how awful this pharmacy is. If you're going for anything else, the staff is friendly and generally well-stocked. But in the pharmacy--they must have hired the most awful people they could possibly find (aside from one woman who is very pleasant and helped get my prescription cost down when I was in between jobs but I haven't seen her there in a while). The pharmacists are confused when you ask them for a prescription and incredibly rude. I had a prescription "in process" for over a week, I was on hold on the phone for over three hours and never got an answer, so I just went there and then they filled it within minutes. They said if it ever happens again "just call and we'll put it through." Now that would be great IF THEY PICKED UP THEIR PHONE. So now on top of my regular day job I have to manage pharmacists who don't know how to do their job. This place is a joke.

Awful place. You have to walk through a gauntlet of beggars to get in, the store is dirty, and the shelves are often empty. Security guard is their only to protect employees. I have witnessed people walk in the store take something off the shelf and walk out and nothing is done. The pharmacy is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible. Pharmacy is unreliable. The App does not work. I can never get my prescriptions on time. I have had one "in process" for the last 48 hours. I do not like going in there because someone is always yelling at the the pharmacist, honestly, because of something CVS did or didn't do right. People need their medication in a timely fashion. Now, everyone there is NOT unprofessional, but there is a reason I TRY and get my medication mailed and that isn't reliable. Please take a lesson from Walgreens. Hire McKinsey or Deloitte for that matter because CVS requires an overhaul, which should start with this store. By chance, if there is a regional Vice President or Manager, feel free to contact me. I tried to be patient.

By far the worst CVS I have ever been to. I live nearby so it's convenient but I can not stress enough the lack of professionalism and service here. Trying to fill prescriptions there is a genuine risk as there is no telling how many days it will take to even get a status update. There is not even the slightest of efforts to meet customers needs. Despicable.

This is the worse service ever. My DR sent multiple RXs (3), I had to go there, because of course no one answered the phone to verify status, only to be told that CVS only received 1RX, Contacted DR's office they resent the 2 missing RXs, go back to CVS and yet again CVS says they only received 1 of the 2. Had to call back to the Dr's office again to resend the remaining RX. - Now INS company says they need pre-auth - Dr's office submitted pre-auth 2xs. Waited 48 hours after each request, had to go back to the CVS to check status (why - no answer on phone for over 45 minutes), they tell me they re-ran RX and INS still not approving. Total BS, because I call INS Company directly, only to learn that the RX was never rerun/resubmitted. So then the INS Rep makes a call for me (with me on the line), INS Rep finally gets through to the CVS, Rep says hello, puts the INS Rep on hold and promptly hangs up. For the next few hours in the morning and then later that afternoon, calls were attempted and I was put on hold repeatedly. Occassionally, you hear the phone connecting only to be placed back in the queue.

This CVS is surprisingly OK. Staff are friendly and more helpful than most. Dogs are welcomed! The shelves aren't in disarray and they do their best keeping everything stocked. As far as CVS in the city goes, this location is (again, surprisingly) a good one. Conveniently located on H Street.

Ordered delivery for a prescription and never received it. Went to call and was on hold for an incredibly long time. Expect to be on hold for at least 45 minutes.

Thank you to the women who work hard to get everyone's prescriptions filled and manage this busy location! They do a wonderful job and have always been able and willing to help me.

Not a very well-run pharmacy, where pharmacists and staff don't seem to know what they are doing. Called in the morning for a refill, says it would be done in an hour, showed up and it's not the right dose and had to continue to wait 45+ mins. On top, the pharmacist helping me purposely took other people over me when I had been waiting longer.I would avoid this one if possible.

Ordered FOUR pictures. Gave it a couple days before I called to see if they were done. Someone picked up and told me they should be done later that afternoon. 4 days later I called again as I didn't get any emails. All along their printer has been down.

Needed to make a quick prescription transfer so I called. Waited on hold for half an hour before they ended my call. Called back and waited on hold another 20 minutes and then they ended my call again. Waiting on hold again in the hopes that I can get my prescription. What in the world is going on here?

Everything about this place is terrible. Dirty, mean people, nothing in stock, Drugstore employees wearing chin straps. I am not sure what is the worst part. The lack of safety or the rude staff who don't fulfill subscriptions and then seem annoyed that they have to help you. Go somewhere, anywhere, else.

TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR PAPER PRESCRIPTION before you give it to the pharmacy technician. They have lost my prescriptions and not entered the transaction into the computer record, and then the order never existed. When you go back to the doctor it sounds like: "the dog ate my homework". There are good staff that work hard to make it work, but there aren't enough to go around.
