When I lived in DC and used this pharmacy I didn't really have issues. Staff was nice, no problem getting prescriptions, all was fine-- until I moved and needed CVS to authorize the transfer of my prescriptions to the new pharmacy. I requested 2 prescriptions from CVS be transferred to my new pharmacy, 2 separate occasions - both times my new pharmacy noted how unresponsive CVS was to their requests for authorization/whatever they needed to complete the transfer. I even tried to call CVS once to see if I could get the ball moving and they said 'well the new pharmacy has to call us' which they did multiple times, different methods - once again CVS NEVER responded/picked up calls. In order to even get my prescriptions I had to contact my providers to get them to redistribute them.

Super helpful! My insurance needed some prior authorization that I wasn’t aware of, but the pharmacist (Dr. Emad) was able to help me with that so quickly and smoothly. Very friendly and approachable staff

I’m sharing this review in hopes CVS will take it and make productive changes to the pharmacy specifically. I’ve been using this pharmacy since I moved a year ago and there are constant issues: system down, issues with my prescriber or prescription that take DAYS if not longer to resolve, not responsive to customers, etc. My biggest concern is when there is a problem with my prescription, I literally do the pharmacy’s job for them. I go back and forth between my provider and the pharmacy (again, sometimes days or longer) until I get a resolution. My prescriber is always confused because that’s not the patient’s job AT ALL. The pharmacy does not answer patient calls and the new CVS system requires we leave a voicemail which go unanswered almost every time. It’s just blatant lack of care for people who need medications for their health concerns and hope that their local pharmacy, which is likely the most accessible option, can be more of a help then a nuisance. I would like to continue using this pharmacy because it is the closest to me but I’m very close to going out of my way for another option that is actually helpful and cares about my medical needs. Please take this criticism and do something constructive.

I hate this place. I went to pick up a prescription- my doctor had to send 3 separate scripts because everything prescribed was unavailable. On the way out I bought a juice… with an expiration date of 1/21/2025 🤢

The pharmacy tech at this location is extremely rude and unfriendly. She was negligent with my concerns which lead to make four trips back to the pharmacy in one day. I then had to escalate my issue to the helpful pharmacist that was quickly able to resolve my issue.

I'd give it a zero star if that was an option. It has been two weeks since the prescription order was placed but it is still showing as delayed. Will be changing my pharmacy.

I’ve been here a couple times and Danielle is the best cashier I’ve had so far. Not too many people genuinely love their jobs so it was good to see that she did. She was kind, smiled the whole time and checked me out quickly, keep doing a great job Danielle!

Something has got to change with this store. Most items are locked. There is literally one employee for the entire store that is able to go and unlock an item. Self check out only. If there is an issue with the self check out that same employee is the only one that can go and assist. Also, the 10 PM close time? I’d rather go across the street to the more expensive Harris Teeter for toiletries. This system is absurd.
