The selection gets smaller and smaller with every visit until today they had only 1 of the 5 items I was there for. What they do have in stock is often under lock and key and they only have one employee on the floor to unlock it for you. Then there is only one person on registers so the wait is long. I went home and ordered from Amazon instead.

They put much of the merchandise behind locked cabinets, but then staff do not answer when you press for customer service assistance.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They could not fill ONE prescription despite multiple phone calls, multiple reading of my insurance and other details…you are inconveniencing them by asking them to do the bare minimum of their job.

Please for your own personal health, do not go to this store, they will cause you health problem's due to CVS' pharmacy's incompetence. In fact stay away from CVS entirely.

Nov 12,2023.A CVS store in Washington, D.C., isn't making toilet paper available on shelves, and customers are now forced to ask an employee to get the product from the store's backroom.The CVS store on H Street NE in the nation's capital took the measure because homeless people were stealing toilet paper, sources told WTOP news.Pictures obtained by FOX Business show framed pictures of paper towels and toilet paper not readily available on the store shelves.On a year-to-date basis, reports of robbery are up by 68% in 2023 vs. 2022. Just over 3,000 robberies have taken place so far in 2023, versus 1,791 at this point in 2022, Metropolitan Police Department data shows.

I have tried twice to get my flu shot at this location. Both times it has not been possible. First the fridge broke. Understandably out of anyone’s control but I was not notified by the pharmacy and showed up for the impossible to complete appointment. The second attempt, I arrived early and again was not notified until I arrived that “oh we don’t have those.” I then received a text message canceling my appointment 8 mins after it was scheduled for. The lack of communication (when clearly it is possible because I received the late cancellation) with customers/patients is unprofessional. If effective communication is too hard, I have no faith in this pharmacy’s ability to do anything more complicated. I will go out of my way to use another location.

My prescription didn't get filled until I requested the pharmacy to be notified I was on my way via the automated prompts on the phone. I've never had to wait so long for a prescription to be filled. Not cool when you're seriously ill and need to start your medication in a timely mannner. I will not be back to this location.

Pharmacist Amina Mefire, is extremely RUDE ! She was yelling at me over a customer, she hung up on me, when I asked her for help. I came inside the pharmacy I asked to speak to her she said “ no it’s 7:00pm we are CLOSED “ despite having a full line of people trying to pick up prescriptions. I told her I would contact corporate to complain and said “ I don’t care call them “ I have never seen a more rude pharmacist in my entire life she is evil, and nasty. This location is extremely behind!! I had my medicine sent over on October 3rd It wasn’t until after I called that they filled my prescription, and my last prescription was not filled until today Thursday October 12th, 2023 …..(they had the prescription since October 3rd) …this pharmacy needs help immediately or needs to be shut down !

This location is very convenient for H st residents, and the pharmacy and staff stay on top of their work. But thank you to Clara in pharmacy for helping me finally resolve some issues in getting my refill. She was patient and diligent.

Prescriptions are always late and never filled until you physically go into the pharmacy and ask. Good luck ever getting someone on the phone, I've been on hold for 2+ hours and not been able to get through. Rude and dismissive staff who don't care whether people get their medications or not. No empathy or human caring here.This is my local pharmacy, but I'm switching pharmacies now because of this pharmacy's lack of professionalism. Hope this helps some people avoid the pain of being a customer at this location.

The worst CVS that I have had the displeasure of using. They are absolutely incompetent using the prescription fulfillment system. The staff gets angry with you if you attempt to call them instead of coming in person to request that your prescription be filled, disregarding the fact that not everyone has the time to travel to the store twice or wait 2 hours for the prescription to be filled. On five separate occasions, they have picked up the phone just to immediately hang it up and get me off hold.

They have hung up on me 5 different times in one day. Or they send me to a full voicemail inbox that I can’t do anything with. Haven’t been able refill medication in 3 weeks and just keep telling me to call back. I know pharmacies are usually understaffed and I have been so patient and so polite but it’s as if they’re going out of their way to be rude and dismissive. I am not the enemy! This is incredibly frustrating, avoid if you can.

Horrid, I’m tired of saying not so nice things about CVS but I changed from the one nearest my home because of poor customer service( Pharmacy) . This Pharmacy here at 645 H St NE, have the same lame policy. In the past was told my prescription was ready by a person calling and text, I get there no prescription. Then on some days the Pharmacy closes at 6 pm so if you work until the evening you are short. Tried to solve that issue by having a family member pick it up the next morning , uhhhh no prescription. This has happened a few times too. Today is Sunday 9/3/23, called several times today to find out why a prescription has been “in process” since 8/23/23, if you need authorization or something plz let me or my doctor’s office know this. I’m waiting on my prescription which will be gone in a bout 2 days. I’m at a loss, is it the neighborhood or the people but everywhere you go now a days the lack of simple respect, dignity and trying your best to do a good job has gone away, and seems no signs of returning. Chic filet and Wegmans have a standard, I wish that all establishment opted in on the policy of Customer First Service, where respect, courteousness, politeness, patience and simple , simple work ethic exists. Standards are the issues , most merchants have none and treat the customers horribly. So sad!

Why are prescriptions never ready. I got a text alert 2 days ago that my prescription was ready. I arrive at 5 pm and I'm told it'll be ready in 90 minutes. I return 2 hours later and it's still not ready. It happens every time. Go somewhere else, I recommend Kentucky Ave Safeway in SE.

I cannot stress enough how awful this pharmacy is. If you're going for anything else, the staff is friendly and generally well-stocked. But in the pharmacy--they must have hired the most awful people they could possibly find (aside from one woman who is very pleasant and helped get my prescription cost down when I was in between jobs but I haven't seen her there in a while). The pharmacists are confused when you ask them for a prescription and incredibly rude. I had a prescription "in process" for over a week, I was on hold on the phone for over three hours and never got an answer, so I just went there and then they filled it within minutes. They said if it ever happens again "just call and we'll put it through." Now that would be great IF THEY PICKED UP THEIR PHONE. So now on top of my regular day job I have to manage pharmacists who don't know how to do their job. This place is a joke.
