The pharmacy is handing the volume from several recently closed CVS’ closeby, and they were already overwhelmed beforehand. The pharmacy never answers the phone. The wait is routinely 30+ minutes long for pickup even after meds are “ready for pickup”. The store is dirty and understocked and has Christmas decorations up into June. It’s neglected and gross and frustrating at every single visit.

Every time I step into the store, the staff members go out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that I feel right at home. From the moment I walk through the door, I’m greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos. They take the time to ask how my day is going and are genuinely eager to assist with any questions I have. The cozy ambiance, combined with their attentive service, makes each visit not just a shopping trip, but a delightful experience that leaves me feeling valued and appreciated.

Look, the staff are trying their best but for the love of god, it takes an hour just to pick up some meds because they have 1 pharmacist serving 9+ people. This is a failure of management to ensure their store is adequately staffed enough to even function. I don’t know if there are any other pharmacies near me but I am going to look because unless they HIRE MORE PHARMACY STAFF AND HAVE MORE THAN A SINGLE PERSON WORKING THE COUNTER, this pharmacy will remain completely and utterly dysfunctional and I will do my business elsewhere.

The CVS at 3601 12th Street North East Washington DC 20017 didn't apply a 30% coupon to my whole purchase; which could have been $12.00 instead they only discounted $4.50. That is not acceptable.

Adeline H must be reprimanded!!! That was the worst pharmacist behavior ever . She first harshly dismissed the senior citizen ahead of me , then tried to close the metal roiling gate onto my hand on purpose! Ridiculous!!!

I swear this is the last time i ever step in a cvs.
I had my prescription sent out yetserday and i kept calling them with no answer, i leave a message but still my prescription is not ready.
I didnt have a way to except on my way to airport and when i get there she is like 30 min wait time. No willingless to help when i told her my uber is there.
I transfered my prescription to walgreens and im telling u. Me and my family will never step food there coz this is not the first time this happens.
I was hoping to take my meds to ease my pain before i go home.

I would not recommend this location. Recently, they gave me the wrong medication for my blood pressure. Thankfully, I noticed, called my doctor the next day. I experienced headaches after taking one pill. However, this could have had a more serious effect based on their error. Most of the staff is polite but one in particular can be very rude!! Get your meds filled somewhere else.

Very slow and never seem to have what we need in stock, even basic stuff like common antibiotics. The staff are friendly and polite so it’s not their fault, but they’re hamstrung by what corporate gives them, I imagine. I hope CVS figured out whatever issue is related to the under stocking and staffing soon so I can return and change this review. Until then, I cannot recommend this cvs.

This CVS has terrible service like terrible pharmacy employees. I wrote my prescription 7 days ago and it is a vital medication for my health, they do not have it on the shelf and in their notes they say that it is a problem with health insurance. very bad service, if you have a super important medication, do not order from this pharmacy.
