I see a lot of people complaining about how long they’ve had to wait or how their perceptions were not ready and how they need to post their lunch hour. If you call CVS it tells you the hours they take their lunch. A few months ago they were extremely short staffed and had to open at 11. Is that your problem no but it is much better now. As far as the pharmacy staff being rude, I’ve never had to experience rudeness. A lot has to do with the fact I do not feel entitled like a lot of the people rating this CVS, and I am human who has worked retail and understand how it is serving people who feel like they are superior or straight up privileged. Anyway, they gotten a lot better and my prescriptions are always ready.

Pharmacy employees are straight up mean to you while you’re sick and just trying to get a prescription filled. I don’t need service with a smile (I get it you hate your job)but service without being rude would be great.

I called ahead of time to check on my prescription, no answer. So, I walk to the pharmacy (while SICK IN THE SNOW AND ICY SIDEWALKS)….to find out they’re on a lunch break and not helping any customers. It would behoove them to post their lunch hours and closure hours to better serve our community.I’m back to add on….I respectfully told the pharmacist about the inconvenience of no one answering the phone AND it not being on the Google listing that they are on lunch…and o suggested that they (whoever is in charge) make it known to the public because they have 2 stars on Google…The pharmacist shrugged his shoulders and did not care at all. If I were you I would not do business here.

I've lived in different cities across the US and this is by far the worse pharmacy I've ever been to. The people behind the counter always have an attitude as if taking care of you is a bother. There is a Safeway pharmacy a few blocks down and I think I will transfer all my prescriptions there from now on. I've had to work with the public in one of my previous jobs, and it is difficult, but if it bothers you then you should quit and get another job. I initially go a message that my prescription had been received, then I got another one saying it was delayed. As their closing time approached I went there to ask about it and the lady told me she could fill it there while I wait. (!) Well? What Gives? Her facial expressions and demeanor showed that it was a bother to have to serve me. I hate this place and the people that work in it. I am taking my business somewhere else. They act as if they are doing you a favor. Unfortunately there is no less criteria than one star, other I would use that. Take your business somewhere else where you'll hopefully be treated with respect.

AVOID! If I were dying, I would take my chances with death over going to this pharmacy.

This might be the worst CVS pharmacy in DC. The pharmacy literally doesn’t ever answer the phone no matter what time of day you call, claims they never received prescriptions from the doctor even when the CVS website shows a record of it being in, takes hours at minimum to fill any prescription, and has no interest in helping customers when they need timely medications. Every single time I’ve tried to fill a prescription there, I’ve faced issues (and so have the other frustrated customers in line). Switched to the Safeway down the street which is a much better experience.
