This is an elite establishment with elegant accommodations. You will experience the finest quality of Abisinian cuisine. It is best to make reservations.

Not sure where all the positive reviews came from - maybe fakes? Some of the worst food I’ve had in a restaurant in years. Ordered $100+ worth of food and literally everything was bad. Nothing is fresh. All tastes like days old cafe food. Chicken was dry. The dips were flavorless. Lamb was smelly. Kitfa didn’t make me feel safe about eating. Even the Injera was clearly not fresh. 0/10 would not recommend.

Horrible service. We waited for 30mins to be seated even when we had a reservation. The food is not worth the wait.

Delicious food and extremely attentive and friendly waitstaff. Even received special attention from the owner who stopped by with a complementary sampling of other dishes to ensure that we had a rich experience of this wonderful cuisine. Highly recommend it unless you are looking for a very quiet dinner.

This was my first experience with Ethiopian cuisine, and I found it somewhat similar to Moroccan dishes as it’s eaten with bread and by hand too .The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the wait for the food was short.

I went for valentines day and the prix fix menu was a great deal and the food was delicious. The vegetarian sampler has so many different things to try and I loved them all. The service was great and the waitstaff was incredibly friendly. Despite the restaurant being full it was not too loud and the ambiance was very nice.

Intense Flavors, optional use of silverware, authentic experience, and overall fantastic. First time embarking on an Ethiopian food journey and I'd do it again. Hanna was an amazing server.

Nice vibe but service was not great and 20% gratuity was imposed, despite being just a group of 2 (and on the menu it is written in small that it is that for a group of 6 or more).

Have been to a few Ethiopian restaurants around the area and this is by far the best in the area. The food was all delicious, we only ordered the vegan dishes and there were plenty to chose from. Everything was fresh and so tasty. The service was great, we never wanted for anything and water and injera were always brought to the table when we needed more and were never waiting for anything. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Really disappointed with this restaurant. Our food was cold, the service was poor, and the restaurant was very loud. I’m vegetarian so my boyfriend and I ordered the vegetarian sampler, and instead the waitress brought out the meat sampler. When we said that it wasn’t what we ordered, she argued with us and told us to take it or it would be thrown out, and that she would bring the veggies out. So eventually she brings out the veggies we ordered initially, and combines it all on the plate, making it more challenging for me to eat with my dietary restrictions. She also didn’t bring the beers we ordered. In the end we were not charged for the more expensive platter or the beer, which I appreciate. But the experience was soured by her service. Another note, if you want to share the sampler you’ll be told you should buy another dish or else you’ll be charged for sharing. Just share it and forget the other dish, sharing is only $7.50 extra while the other main dishes start at $20. We won’t be returning.

They try to make you order more than you can eat.

I hadn't eaten Ethiopian for many years and it was nice to rediscover this very good food with diverse flavors. There were 5 of us and we had different dishes, served on 2 large plates. We eat Ethiopian pancakes with our fingers (no cutlery).Room a little noisy.Room upstairs, which you can privatize for 1 evening or event.A good place to go!Dinner on January 5

I would NOT recommend. Meat portions are very small and just taste okay.I told the waitstaff very clearly I was gluten free and to not serve me anything with gluten. They gave me a bunch of bread. Right before I ate it, I double checked if it was gluten free. They said no! I was like - are you serious? I just told you I'm allergic. Then they brought out a main dish that was covered in bread, and got mad at me when I said I couldn't eat that. They tried to tell me I didn't tell them clearly. They didn't knock anything off my bill, and charged me $4 extra for the gluten free bread (which was disgusting btw)
