Georgetown Service Center was a pleasure to visit. The staff was professional, patient, and genuinely kind. The process was smooth, the waiting time was reasonable, and all my questions were answered clearly. I left feeling satisfied instead of stressed.

Arrived before 11:00 a.m. There was no queue. Security staff at the entrance are friendly. Staff are professional. If you have to take the vision test make sure you ask for a wet tissue to wipe and clean the vision screener. Entry to exit took about 15 minutes.

Just yesterday I visited the DMV center on M Street and everything was perfect — clean, organized, and the staff were very polite. I was able to resolve all my questions with no trouble at all. I will definitely be coming back here! I highly recommend this DMV location, especially after a terrible experience at the DMV on Rhode Island Ave — it was absolutely awful. Don’t go there — go to M Street. Everything here is wonderful!

would give zero stars if i could - rejected me getting an id for like the fifth time because i couldn't provide TWO proofs of residences, and im about to move and now i can't apply to apartments because i dont have a dc id so really im fucked

Mr Lynch just helped me have the best DMV experience I’ve had in my life. Deeply appreciate him helping me register my car on a day when the system was down and I didn’t have all my docs at first.

Confusing entrance. It's in the Georgetown Park mall with an entrance under a Gold's Gym sign, then go downstairs on the escalator and turn to your left.
Much shorter lines than expected, but still wish appointments were available. Metal detectors and security personnel are strict. Very clean and lots of staff and seating. Some staff is wonderful, while other staff will not take people at their window, when they are doing nothing. Online instructions aren't perfect. Don't need to bring old plates to get new plates. Proofs of residency cannot come from the same government agency. If you need anything printed, you have to go to the UPS Store a few blocks away.

5/5, excellent DMV experience - lovely waiting area, short wait on a Thursday morning (only waited about 10 minutes around 9am on a Thursday). Be sure to check hours in advance! Friendly and efficient staff.

The staff here is so rude. I went to get my Real ID, and the man in front was being rude looking at me weird, maybe because I’m Hispanic and my english its not so good. Then another lady was also rude when I asked simple questions about what I needed to get my ID. They were being rude for no reason at ALL.

Shittiest customer support. Despite having to come 3 times with all the paperwork/supporting documentation they continue to waste my time in the end saying it’s not possible to get my car registered and to go to ParkDC instead. Hopefully AI takes over this process and makes it more efficient and effective.

Had the best experience at the Georgetown DMV location. I highly recommend visiting their site ahead of time to know exactly what to bring, I was in and out in 45 minutes. Everyone was so kind and made the experience of getting a DC license so pleasant. Easily the best DMV experience I’ve ever had!
