I am the smallest of fish in the entrepreneurial sea and they treated me with the respect of a corporation. They also were realistic with their pricing and did not price gouge on the cost of discovery as many seemed to do as a searched far and wide for a company to work with. They seemed legit in their interest and investment in my project and I was paired with a project manager that came with quality industry insights and suggestions. They will take all the information you provide and bring the project alive while making sure you are aware of the pitfalls and possible improvements you might have not seen.

It’s easy to feel intimidated when building and creating momentum for a small business. Especially when it comes to creating an attractive website. The cost and logistics can be daunting considerations. I’m so thrilled that a friend of mine referred me to Design in DC. Their group of professional designers and creators alleviated my concerns and walked me through the entire process. I’m a small business owner who chose Design in DC to build me an e-commerce website. They quoted me a very fair price for my project as compared to the other firms I was considering. Design in DC was very attentive in understanding my vision and understood that I needed to rely on them for many design features. They also suggested a new logo for me that I feel is much better. The discovery phase of planning the site was very thorough with weekly updates and meetings where I was able to meet the team. Communication was frequent and prompt. This communication was continued throughout the development phase and their suggestions along the way were welcomed. Design in DC was also very good about adjusting a couple small things after completion with no additional charge. The delivery date was about two months later than the contractual anticipated completion date, which is the reason for my less than perfect review. Overall, I would recommend considering Design in DC and I am happy to continue working with them.

I began working with Design in DC during the start of the pandemic when my career path like so many others became uncertain, but saw it as a golden opportunity to take a chance to pursue a passion of mine I've been working on in my free time over the years. I knew I needed to work with an experienced, well-rounded team that can help me build and grow various areas of my newly formed company from designing a unique website to a revenue generating, sustainable business. Just as important, I needed to work with a team that can educate me while taking a lot of the guesswork out as this was a new experience for me and I knew it can easily become overwhelming. Sure enough, I did my due diligence and came across Design in DC as a very versatile team with amazing reviews that would fit my one-stop shopping needs to cover all areas of growing my business, so I decided to connect. First off, they were very responsive and communicative right from the get-go to meet with me to learn more about my business and goals. I was a one-man show and a little intimidated by the process of working with a company outside of my comfort zone as I didn't know what I needed or sometimes even how to communicate that, but they were extremely understanding by answering the ton of questions I had and really helped simplify the process. I admittingly was unsure of the direction I wanted to go at times which made me become indecisive during this process, but Design in DC was very patient, always at my disposal for help anytime I needed it, and accommodated me in any way possible to achieve a result which I couldn't be more happy with. From implementing the vision I originally had for my business to brainstorming new creative ideas I would have never thought of, I was beyond impressed with their level of professionalism and amazingly diverse talent in all different areas web design and digital marketing. They not only helped build an unbelievable website, but also established a brand identity that really helped me take my business in new directions that I didn't think were possible. So for any entrepreneur looking to turn their passion into a career but unsure of where to even begin or if you're an already established business that wants to take it to the next level, your success is only as good as the team you build and partnering with Design in DC was the best business decision I've made thus far. The Design in DC team over delivered on our expectations for our first website as an early stage startup.
