My best car repair experience ever. The service was professional and straight to the point. I called days later to thank the mechanic again.

Ray and team are excellent - always top notch service wand he’ll give it to you straight on what’s up with your vehicle / what he recommends…no BS. Convenient location with walk-ins / drop-offs only.

I used this garage last year for brake pads and brake rotor replacement on a Mazda, and again today for maintenance (engine oil and oil filter change; tire rotation; air filter and cabin filter replaced). Cost is very reasonnable. I was able to drop and pick up the car in same morning, provided I arrived at opening (7 am).Services: Tires

The owner Ray has worked on all of my cars since I was 16. He's always gotten it right the 1st time. And always given me a fair price.

My family has used this shop for years. My grandad loved Mr. John but ever since Ray took over they have been terrible. They over charge for everything and sometimes they charge you and do nothing. I was charged $350 to charge my a/c and it didn't work. Thank God Mr John was there. He fixed it after he heard me fussing. Stay away.

Like Dr. Gregory House, the proprietor of District Line Auto Service, Mr. Ray Gomno compiles mechanical symptoms while applying subtle insights, based on years of experience. As a small business owner, Ray works closely with his garage diagnostics team, lead by Uncle John, to relentlessly work towards problem resolution to get vehicles safely back on the road as quickly as possible. I know this because I am the owner of a 2009 Audi A4 with over 200,000 miles and have witnessed this myself time and time again. Thanks to this fine establishment, I hope to continue to operate this vehicle for another 50,000 plus miles or perhaps 2 more years. The prices here are fair and the customer service is great. I am happy to give my 5 star recommendation for District Line Auto Service and hope your experience here is as good as mine has been.

They estimate $275 for changing one side sway bar link however I went to different shop and the owner of that shop told me to buy the part and I purchased the part for $50 from autozone and he charged me $30 for labor. My car is fixed for $80. But District line auto service wanted to charge me $225 for the work that is done in 30.

I've been going to this auto shop since I moved to DC 4 years ago. Ray and his team are very reliable, transparent, and efficient. I've gotten oil changes, starter replacements, and brake replacements here. Fortunately I have not had too many issues with my car, mostly regular maintenance (aside from the starter issue that ray was able to identify and resolve after I went to 3 other places, including the dealership). I honestly don't go anywhere else because I feel like once you find a reliable mechanic, you stick with them!

I definitely DO NOT recommend. They gave me an estimate of over $900 to change a belt and pulley on my vehicle. Over $500 of that was labor. It takes less than hour to do that job and the parts cost about $165 at the most, so you do the math. They lost a potentially lifelong customer for trying to get over. Thank God I found an honest, reliable certified shop to go to instead.

Great service, I trust these guys. Have gone twice now and they seem honest and don't try to upsell you. Affordable prices. Was worried about finding a good mechanic in DC, so glad I found this place!

Great customer service but never truly fixed my car, they seem to care more about not messing anything up or making me spend money. rather than actually fixing the car in which I had to spend more money taking it somewhere else

What a great business! They are fast, communicative, and a great value. They really went above and beyond on my last service - thank you!
