I came here for a warm drink and a pastry. Got a chai latte with oat milk and a croissant. $16. Insane. Prices are pretty ridiculous, even for cafes in the DC area. Chai latte was fine tasting, but it came out lukewarm. Croissant was also fine tasting, but who wants to buy a $6-7 single croissant? I will not be coming back sadly.

For the price level, you’d expect a decent espresso drink. There were 3 staff members working at the cafe and no one started making my coffee for at least 5 minutes after I paid. There was no one ahead of me in line, they just weren’t making drinks. One of the staff was on their cell phone. When they finally called me, my cappuccino had no milk foam. Basically just a small latte. At least the setting is nice. Just hold off on tipping until you actually get your order.

Any coffee place that does not open until 10am isn’t a coffee place. (Had the coffee previously and it was meh.)

Expensive (2x what you would expect), but, it's in a museum. Quality coffee and pastries.

I’m pregnant and was feeling dehydrated. I asked for a cup of tap water at this Dolcezza stand inside of the Hirshhorn. The cashier said “I’m not allowed to give you water. I can only sell you water.” Seems pretty harsh and rigid to deny a few ounces of tap water to a pregnant woman and only offer to sell overpriced Dasani to appease Dolcezza management. Dolcezza doesn’t care about pregnant women!

Didn't want to pay $9 for bleh coffee from a food truck. Found this little gem tucked in the ground floor of the Hirshhorn Museum of Modern Art. If you like good coffee (not Charbucks) and need a place to rest, this is your spot. The barista was knowledgeable and recommended the Black Sesame drink (no caffeine) with a shot of espresso on the side. The shot was smooth and not over-roasted. The Black Sesame was spectacular! (Again, not coffee). My daughter ordered an iced mocha and my niece ordered an iced hazelnut mocha. Both were good; not too sweet and the coffee had good flavor. It was a little pricey; with tip almost $8 for my shot of coffee and drink. But I would rather pay a little extra for the location and the quality. If you are visiting the Smithsonian's, it is definitely a good place to stop.

Ice coffee tasted very old. The clerk preparing our drinks paused to blow his nose and then continued without washing hands.

The location of this Dolcezza is very convenient if you are visiting the Hirshhorn or just on the National Mall. Your options for drinks and food on the mall are limited, and I would pick Dolcezza over a food truck. I had the blueberry lavender gelato which they were serving at a stand right outside the exit of the Hirshhorn. The gelato was very good and they gave me a generous scoop. It was pricey at about $9, but if you are craving some gelato it is delicious. They have plenty of tables to sit at or you can eat your gelato on the go.

this place is a joke, for this price i should get a gold bar text to it… you have to have your bag searched on top of that and the sitting area is limited.
