I've lived at Elevation for about 9 months and have absolutely loved my experience so far. All of the staff I've encountered - from leasing, to concierge, to maintenance have all been so kind and helpful. The many amenities are well worth the cost, maintenance has responded in a timely manner to all of my requests, the concierges have always greeted me warmly and have been willing to answer any questions or help me get to the right person. The location is great being very metro accessible. It is still an apartment in DC so there's sirens and police often, but that's to be expected honestly. I love that the apartments provide a calendar of events each month for things going on around the city as well as the apartment itself hosting some things! I never have issues with packages being stolen as the front desk holds some if they're not put in the Amazon Hub locker (which i dealt with in a previous apartment). I love that the building is secure so I can feel safe even in a city that isn't the most safe (understatement I know).

Mr Sherrod is very helpful and patient he makes the process so much easier for a potential tenant and already lease holders. The entire staff is very professional. Mr. Sherrod will guide you every step of the way to make your move less stressful. This is the best property I know of in the DC NE area. I’m very trustworthy and it’s a ten out of ten. Mr Sherrod will definitely make your happiness and concerns (If any) a priority. Mr. Sherrod will do everything to accommodate you so everything will go smoothly.

I toured Elevation at Washington Gateway for the first time, and from the moment I walked in, Sherrod made me feel completely at ease. His kindness, professionalism, and fun personality turned what could have been just another apartment tour into an unforgettable experience. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also took the time to answer every single question I had with patience and enthusiasm. As we walked through the stunning amenity spaces—each one immaculate, modern, and thoughtfully designed—Sherrod made me feel truly welcome. The building itself is incredible, but what stood out the most was the genuine care and excitement he brought to the tour. If you’re considering Elevation at Washington Gateway, do yourself a favor and tour with Sherrod. His passion for what he does is evident, and he turns the apartment-hunting process into something special. I’m so grateful for the experience!

I absolutely enjoy staying here at elevation. The amenities are nice, and the staff is always helpful. The mixer event was fun, thanks Flo, Jada, & Sherrod for hosting!

Have lived here almost 3 years and haven’t regretted it once! The location is amazing with everything up and coming in Union Market. Ms. Donna is a highlight of living here, always smiling and making the start to my day better! She fixes any problems I might face or always knows who can fix it! Would always recommend!!

Update for January 2025:
Leasing and touring the apartments went well - Sherrod and Jada were very helpful and patient. Was impressed at my unit. I’ll update this review when I have moved in completely and seen all that Elevation has to offer, but am impressed thus far!
Old review (2022):
I went to Elevation for a tour, and was blown away at the very impressive service that both Chris and Caroline provided. Upon arrival at the community, I was instantly offered a bottle of water and had all my questions answered with smiles. The tour went very well, and I loved the apartments. Clean, modern appliances, and great layouts. I decided to apply.
While life circumstances happened and I ultimately decided not to go through with the apartment, I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy, as well as the thoroughness of responses by Chris and Caroline. I definitely will consider Elevation in the future, if I do consider renting in the NoMa area. This is a gem in the NoMa area, go and check it out!

Elevation went with my daughter to tour The Elevation with Sharrod the leasing agent and for a unit to not have been furnished his energy made the whole unit vibrant with colors because of his energy we immediately wanted to apply. Thank you Sharrod for awesome experience

We had a great experience as residents of Elevation. Living close to Metro, Trader Joe’s and Union Market is very convenient. It is a safe space for Uber pick ups, drop offs, deliveries etc. as the building entrance is within a “circle” / cul-de-sac. If our family relocates to DC we would return to Elevation, The Burton or 202. Bozzuto management is military friendly, thank you.
