Farragut Square is a very nice, big open park in a central location. It is a peaceful and quiet place for a leisurely lunch or a walk, with great seating throughout. The square is a main place for two metro lines and a starting point for city buses. It features an interesting statue made from an old ship's anchor. The area offers a plethora of nearby eateries. A common note is that the park is often filled with homeless people, who find refuge there, sometimes causing disturbances. At night, nearby streets have clubs for adults.
