Okay, so as a Minnesotan getting on the subway is a real experience! It didn't look exactly like TV but pretty darn close! If you've never been on, you have to give it a go. It was easy to pay but not so easy to navigate if you aren't good with directions.

Farragut West is one of the "easier" and more manageable metro stations in Washington, D.C. It is not too deep underground, not like, say, Dupont Circle. It's relatively easy to navigate (two sides to enter or exit I believe). It is reasonably well lit (lights aren't broken; no dark sections) and clean. Ticket machines work.

Everything is always broken, no staff on site EVER, and the whole station is designed in the most inconvenient way possible. This is typical of a department that has literally no accountability. You can have multiple metro disasters in a year and leadership won't ever have to worry about actually losing their job because they know they are above accountability. Advice. Fire everyone director and above. The leadership is beyond useless.

Just a nice station west of Farragut Square. I wouldnt say there is any attractions at this station but many office buildings. The station is kept pretty clean and has great customer service. (at least when I go there) WMATA did a great job on making this station with trains mostly on time.

Another rider from Washington DC spit in my face and Metro claimed that I was not being truthful. I tried to avoid a fight and do the right thing as I didn't want to go back to jail but Metro doesn't care about me it seems.i am prior military and my reputation is good so there was no reason to delay a report to be written. I have clashed with a group from Washington DC and riding Metro is always a battle. The Metro employees are always good to me though and for that I rate metro with four stars. They are Able to assist in any location or needs. I would also advise that you not try to short your fare as Virginia prosecutes.
