I want to give a big shout out to Maxwell, the store manager on duty, and the entire team at the Eastern Market FedEx Kinko’s for their outstanding operations and top-tier customer service.
I had an urgent overnight express delivery that was critical: one of my grant recipients was at risk of losing a sale on a property due to previous failed delivery attempts via certified mail and even FedEx at two other locations. I was starting to worry about how this reflected on me professionally, and it felt like the situation was spiraling out of control and worse yet, the sale would fall through due to the mail and courier services..
Thankfully, Diamond at the Federal Center SW FedEx location referred me to this Eastern Market location, letting me know it had a late pickup, was Metro-accessible, and open late. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. I used to live in this neighborhood and don’t remember operations running this smoothly at this location. The store was busy but clean and organized, and the staff were all actively helping customers with patience and professionalism. Maxwell immediately listened to my situation, reassured me, and sprang into action. He asked a colleague to hold the night’s express shipment just a bit longer to include my package. He made sure it would go out that night and guaranteed next-day delivery by 5 PM. Maxwell even helped me photograph the tracking number, receipt, and documentation so I had everything on hand before I rushed back to the Metro to make it to my son’s aftercare pickup in Virginia.
By the time I got home and checked tracking, my package was already showing movement with an ETA of 9:30 AM–1:30 PM, well ahead of the deadline and truly exceeding expectations. Most of the time, I’m lucky if tracking even updates by the next day, but this was seamless. Thanks to Maxwell’s quick thinking and leadership, I was able to repair a professional relationship and uphold my commitment to my grant recipient. This is what true customer service looks like, and why I will be returning to this location again and again, and recommending it to colleagues.

Anthony is exceptional. He is attentive, considerate, and dedicated to making my satisfaction with the work product the very top of his professional pyramid. He tirelessly worked to bring my fussy project to completion, finding every way that we could maximize quality and lower costs where possible, and he was committed to making the experience as smooth and excellent as he could. I could go back and forth with my own computer and work through problems with him as an equal and a collaborator, and he was as eager and intent on seeing my vision come to life as I was. I cannot recommend Anthony to you enough. He is THE person I want to work with whenever I have needs that bring me to FedEx office.

Tried to submit a simple print job online for this store. Nope. System error. Over and over again. No more information than that. Maybe the UPS store down the street can do better. Probably not this store's fault...but doesn't make me want to use these guys again. So I won't.

Whenever I've come in to ship things they've been so helpful and competent. Especially Isaiah. They helped me ship some large items for a move this time and were so quick and kind. They deserve a promotion, super capable!

Went in to do some printing for my first time in store and asked for assistance from the employees in store , everyone looked at each other and kept going about their business, so I asked again for help and one older lady asked what I needed from afar and I informed her that I didn’t know what I was doing on the machine and was trying to print multiple pages out. She told me to read the screen and I’ll get a code and walked off. After about 9 minutes of plucking away at the machine I think I figured it out a little but employees began to turn off lights and lock the doors as if store was closing but didn’t say anything so I quit doing my print job and canceled out my payment and left the store. Worst customer service ever!! Will not go back!!!

I I was assisted by a lady named Isaiah. At first, she was ignoring us, and I felt a little disregarded. But her supervisor got her to work with us. And she was very helpful. After all! I appreciate it her assistance.

This may be the best FedEx I have ever visited with the absolute best customer service and most helpful staff! Anthony really went above and beyond in helping me get my prints, and Michael the store manager was also incredibly accommodating. They made this process a very smooth and stress free experience. So thank you so much and highly recommend this over any FedEx in the city or in the DMV for that matter.
