We absolutely love Fingerprints, and we know our toddler does too. He learns so much from the creative and age-tailored activities (we love seeing the cool things he does on the app!), he has so much fun playing with friends and on the courtyard playground, and he simply adores his teachers. From Ms. Tabithia and Ms. Judy and Ms. Kayla in infants, to Ms. Monica, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Gabie, and Ms. Destiny in toddlers, he loves his teachers like family, and so do we! We have the piece of mind that he is with attentive, warm, fun, and energetic teachers and caretakers all day, and bringing home all these new skills and milestones to boot.

My family and I absolutely love fingerprints! We always get a warm welcome upon arrival or drop off when taking my grandson. The teachers are very knowledgeable and hands on with the children. My grandson loves going to school each day to see his friends. Ms.Michelle, Ms.Destiny and Ms.Monica are great in the toddler program! I can see the educational growth in my Grandson from being involved in such a great program.

We love Fingerprints! I was nervous to make the switch from a nanny to day care, so finding a place with such a loving staff gave me piece of mind. Miss Kayla and Miss Tabitha in the infant room made our daughter feel loved and secure, and they helped her grow so much.

Can't say enough good things about my kiddo's time here. I had no experience with "daycare," but have learned that these professionals are best in class. From the infant "class" to the "toddlers" program, I have been very impressed by what mychild learns and does daily and the exceptional care received (shout out to the wonderfully kind, patient, caring, fun, and experienced teachers (Tabitha, Judy, Tiombe, Kayla, Destiny, Gabie, Michelle, Monica, Helen, Kim, Ben, Loretta, who I feel so good about leaving my heart with for so many hours of the week. I have toured other daycare centers in DC and this one feels the best (spacious, clean, natural light, lots of toys and books, etc.) - maybe a "get what you pay for" situation, but when I walk in and leave my favorite person there, I know it's safe and great for her development and growth. I see my child thriving and happy with the other kids, staff, and many activities. The director and assiatant director are present and phenomenal -- attentive, know everyone, and accessible. The catered food for the kids comes from The Good Food Company, and there is an onsite contained outdoor play area (even an inddor play rolm.for when they cant go outside) the kids seem to love. The photos and videos they post in the app make my day, and even the security guards are friendly as you walk into the secure building. Highly recommend here and to my own colleagues and friends.

Our kiddo has been in one of the infant classrooms for a few months now and we absolutely love it. The teachers are unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They provide frequent updates throughout the day, and very welcome suggestions of what we can do at home to help support mental and physical development. They engage the kids with all kinds of creative activities, both indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend!!

We love Fingerprints! All of the teachers are fantastic and it is such a caring and educational environment. It is top notch and prepared our oldest for school. Our youngest is still at Fingerprints and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We absolutely love Fingerprints! Our son joined Fingerprints at 8 months old and we intend to keep him in the program through preschool. He enjoys going to Fingerprints every day where he can interact with devoted teachers who care about his development. We have been very impressed with the curriculum, especially compared to other schools in the area. We feel like we are getting our money's worth and our son is able to be intellectually stimulated and challenged while also having fun. I trust the safety of the school - the playground isn't visible from the street - and the teachers send regular updates throughout the day regarding the children's activities and areas where they are succeeding. Our son talks about how much fun he had with Ms. Kim, Ms. Helen, and Ms. Monica once we return home for the day and frequently says that he is going to preschool soon. We know we made the right choice sending our son to Fingerprints when we hear the enthusiasm in his voice.

We have been a Fingerprints family for three years. Our first is about to age out of the program and we are enrolling our second child early next year. The Center has been a place where our child has thrived. The teachers are incredible, it is a great mix of teachers with literally decades of experience at the center, as well as fabulous new teachers who are so dedicated to the kids.I know several parents who have kids that are grown (in their 20’s) and their children had some of the same (WONDERFUL) teachers our child has now. It is a very special place and community with an established core team.The space is light-filled and happy, the kids have their own large personal playground in the Interior building courtyard, as well as a great “movement matters” large place space down the hall from where the classrooms are located. They have a good mix of classroom time, outside time, “water play days” where we send our kids in suits and they make the playground a little water park. The kids mix with other classes a decent amount, which has been very fun because it exposed our kid to playtime with all different ages (and there is nothing cooler to a toddler than playing with a preschooler).But really, the thing that makes this place special are the staff and teachers. We feel so lucky we are able to send our kiddos here where they are so loved and cherished by the entire team.

We have been a Bright Horizons Fingerprints family for six happy years. The teachers really love and care for their young students, and it is great to see our kids learn how to be kind and polite.Detailed daily updates are shared in real time on the My Bright Day app, showing parents the lesson plans, physical activities, and creative projects that children are enjoying. It’s a good sign when your child doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day!Teachers promptly call if there are any concerns, and communication is good. You even get parent-teacher conferences with written reports.Current care hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, or any subset within there. Kids receive breakfast, lunch and snacks as part of the cost. We will really miss the wonderful teachers and friendly fellow families! Highest recommendation.

My family has been a Fingerprints family for two years now and we couldn't be happier! My preschooler loves to go to school to play with her friends and she is very engaged with the curriculum. My infant son has also formed close bonds with his teachers and smiles when he sees them. I love how his teachers change the room around to keep the children active and they encourage tummy time. When my daughter started in toddlers, I immediately noticed a huge leap in independence. I am the Director of Fingerprints now and I am so happy that I found this childcare center for my family.Many of the Fingerprints teachers have been at the center over 10 years, several over 20 years! This is a special place that feels like a community. I am happy to have a safe place to bring my children since COVID started- there is even a new playground that is only for Fingerprints children!Hello! We've been at Fingerprints for the past 4 years and couldn't be happier. We've sent both our kids there, starting in the infant room and graduating on up to their Kindergarten-Prep class. The teachers are fantastic and keep an open line of communication on growth and developmental milestones. They also serve as my go-to resource when dealing with age-specific challenges at home. My parents have been so impressed at what my kids have learned at school-- from basic life skills & emotional intelligence to elementary addition/subtraction, writing and reading before kindergarten. The school has a new playground which the kids love and is heavily utilized. We feel safe and secure inside the Dept. of Interior building. The school is bright, airy, colorful and welcoming to all. They have also been strictly following all COVID-19 protocols. I highly recommend to any prospective family looking for childcare in downtown DC.
