We had two loans go through first Washington in a short turn around. We thought we were dealing with a family friend that we knew from our kids sports. Come to find out during our current new refinance that we were taken to the cleaners. We were forced into a horrible loan with unbelievable fees etc . Fees and terms we never agreed to. Just found out I have been paying PMI when I didn’t need to. We are still working out details and next steps but so far looks like this company took about 20k in fees from us that was not necessary. We really had an absolutely horrible experience. Stay clear.

We have been recommending First Washington Mortgage since working with them for the first time in 2014. Adam does a really good job with all loan types from credit-challenged, difficult files, to those with excellent credit, and we have found him to have the best rates and lowest costs for our clients. Being a smaller mortgage company means they have lower overhead to pay for, so they don't pad their loans with a lot of extra fees. They also make the process much more personal than a big bank because you aren't just a number, you're a neighbor!

Stay away. Awful communication, was sent other people’s documents during mortgage process which probably means my info was sent to others as well because of their incompetence. Just received a letter that my data(social, license, bank account) was accessed and obtained by an illegal intruder from their system. Again, stay away from this broker.

I have worked with Gloria Mishou twice now, once as a first time homebuyer and most recently on another home purchase. Gloria is extremely knowledgeable helpful and friendly. She answered any questions I had, always kept me updated and was very flexible with her availability. My wife and I were buying a house while interest rates were fluctuating constantly, on her guidance, Gloria locked our rate at the ideal time as if it were clock work, financing and closing all went smoothly. Highly recommended!

I had the wonderful experience of working with Gloria Mishou. I was put in contact with her by a family friend, and even when I stopped looking for a house temporarily she was always available to answer my questions and help me. When it came time to put an offer in on a house I wanted, she was insanely efficient and we got everything squared away with all my questions and concerns addressed as fast as I could ask them. She did so good my closing date even got moved up.
It was all plain and easy to understand with her guidance, and I couldn’t have asked for better help than Gloria.

Matt was truly amazing to work with during our house hunt. After a year of us being all over the place, having him run numbers every other day and asking a million and one questions as first time home buyers, he did it all without hesitation.
