Would love to have been able to sit down, but after purchasing my food I looked around and realised every table had about one person with a computer in front of them and very little food or drink on the table . Was not happy !

Taking up an expensive piece of corner real estate in DC's Georgetown area (Wisconsin Ave NW and N St NW), their easy and accessible front door and somehow soothing and simplistic designed space caught my peripherals as I enjoyed a slow stroll during Georgetown's Spring Art Walk.Art, intriguing creations, spilled from the many art galleries and antique shops, out the doors, some down steps to the sidewalks on either side of Wisconsin Ave. Spring is here but today's gusty winds and low temperature had Winter not wanting to go into that good night. My over-ears headphones did double duty as ear muffs, my corduroy leggings and long faux fur scarf to go with my long coat were wise fashion choices against the blustering weather.Feeling a little like Goldilocks, I passed a few cafes that didn't fit me until I stumbled across a seemingly oasis from the unrelenting grip of cold weather. I needed something hot in my stomach to warm what I thought was cold blood flowing in my veins. The space is built so well, a combo of small market and coffee and Internet cafe with a niche wine cellar, hot finger foods with a soaring ceiling and inviting seating.Abundance of electric outlets for those of us that still need to plug in their charger(s): I rolled in with my electric scooter, tucking it under the high top counter by the window wall. While it juiced up, I put in my order for a hot coffee. I also wanted to splurge on a warm muffin but had to settle for an oversized chocolate chip cookie to go with my beverage. After testing the hotness of my coffee, again my Goldilocks wanted what she wanted and that was something hot to drink. I asked the young man at the register - I so wish I had gotten his name - if I could please get a coffee that was hot (and not lukewarm I was thinking). His customer service was so wonderful in that he helped me by asking if I wanted it steamed. I did not know that I could have asked for that originally and added pretty please (out loud) with appreciation.Literally could feel my mind file away that jewel for the next time want hot coffee and patiently waiting, I bit into the cookie. It's warm goodness took me by another pleasant surprise. Armed with warm cookie and steaming coffee, I enjoyed both at the window wall daydreaming and drawing in my sketchbook. Of the baby leaves sprouting and of the cherry blossom petals dancing on the wind. My toes were straight up curled in satisfaction from the warmth inside me and surrounding me.The Sun finally glowing through clouds, the rain clearing away and the winds blowing everything shiny. I felt as happy as a fox trotting to its warm den after a good hunt.Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors but also no steps but there's always someone entering or existing and people will assist with the doors that push or pull.

During my visit on Friday, I had the unfortunate experience of being followed around the store by associates. I’ve seen Foxtrots around D.C. and never took the chance to go inside one so, while I was running errands in Georgetown I took the chance to visit the one on Wisconsin Ave. I would consider Foxtrot to be Dean & Deluca (sadly missed) if it were a convenience store or a mixture of Whole Foods and WaWa (but smaller). When I walked in I would say the store was half full with many people seated but not many shopping. The indoor seated area surrounds a small section containing chips, gummy items, and what I would consider to be standard convenience store fare. I started looking at the items in this section for a little while when I first came in to see if there was anything of interest. When I turned around to go to a different section in the store, that's when I noticed 3 of the associates were huddled together looking at me in the checkout/ordering area located in the middle of the store. And when I looked directly at them they averted their gaze and dispersed from each other to other sections of the store.I thought this moment was odd but I wanted to see the rest of the store. This is when I moved from the front of the store to the back and passed by the chilled wine section to look at the back aisles that contain more kitchen pantry items such as avocado oil as well as the refrigerated section containing ice cream and pizza. That’s when I noticed that 2-3 times an associate or pair of white associates would walk to the back while I was looking at something, stand a few feet away from me, pretend to look at something nearby and then walk back to the front. For example, there was a time I was looking at ice cream and an associate also went back to the frozen food section standing several feet away from me and when I looked at him he turned around, picked up a can of what looked like chips (think Pringles but not) behind him and moved back to the checkout area. When a store is small in the way Foxtrot is, you can very easily tell when someone is watching you or following you around a store, especially when it happens more than once. And I have never been so blatantly followed around a store in Georgetown. I was wearing a Johns Hopkins sweatshirt and boots from L.L.Bean and this was a very “shopping while Black” experience. I’m posting this review to let other people of color know you may be followed around the store if you shop here and so that you can make informed decisions. And for the store to see so that you don’t make other patrons as uncomfortable as you made me.

The best store I visited in the US. They have everything: wifi, wc, tables with chairs, beer and wine (that you can drink by the tables), normal grocery stuff, coffee etc. - just everything. And it looks beutiful. Just the best one in the US!

I've been stopping by twice a day for about 3 months. The employees are like my brothers now. I love them all very much. A very nice team and a very nice place. A real family atmosphere. I highly recommend it. It's the best coffee shop in D.C.

The food is overpriced. Sometimes the produce is old, for example, stale potato chips, salads that are The salads can be old and limp lettuce. Bought 2 sourdough breads as a gift. One was ok, the other one was burned and not eatable.Poor management. Dirty tables. Unfriendly staff, with an exception for the longstanding staff. The CS is sloppy and inconsistent. There are a few people that are helpful and knowledgeable, but the new hires are not . The membership is a joke. you pay more and get less. Overall OVERPRICED AND INCONSISTENT CS. OLD SALADS AND STALE CHIPS.

Picked up a Too Good to Go order and everything was disgusting and old. This Chicken Farro Bowl tastes old and stale. I also got an avocado veggie roll and the avocado is completely brown. I also got the Treats bag that consisted of 4 ginormous donuts. Too bready and dense. Staff was uninterested in helping and seemed miserable to be there. They had blank looks, were very unfriendly and the whole experience was unpleasant. Will never go back What a huge waste of money

I really am obsessed with foxtrot. I love the mini market, cafe vibe. Grab and go meals for an easy lunch. Cafe bites, and unique healthy treats. I love that they have a single person bathroom (which is pretty large). I love their selection overall. Love their breakfast tacos. I have seen a lot of reviews saying the service is rude/unfriendly, but I think they're all nice just move with a fast passed new york attitude. I recommend getting the app for quick checkout and free cafe drinks.don't get their smoothies - they aren't fresh at all and just come from a plastic package in the freezer.*pics coming soon*

Cute atmosphere and nice merch but that's about it. Maybe I came at a bad time but no one on staff looked like they wanted to be there. They didn't even say hi or "next customer" they just looked at you like you were supposed to know to just start talking. You could tell that whoever was on the espresso machine just did not care about what was happening or what they were making. All the ingredients to my drink were there, but it was barely drinkable. I ordered a mocha but felt like I was drinking chocolate lava. The shot was so over extracted that it didn't even taste like espresso. The chocolate taste was there... which was nice. Although the staff treated us poorly, it's a clear indication that no one there is happy and management really needs to understand why.

Food is mediocre for the price, service is lackluster, atmosphere is just ok. The place doesn’t feel clean.

Un lieu "trop bien". Dans un cadre moderne et chill. On y mange bien, on profite du wifi et le personnel est agréable. Bref, un endroit où il est bon de rentrer et dur de repartir.

Effective Oct 1st cashless business are illegal, per DC law. So why was I refused purchasing food product from Fox Trot when I presented payment with cash. Cashless businesses discriminate against individuals who do no have credit or bank accounts. Fox Trot needs to get their operations in line with current DC laws, immediately.
