GAP Community Child Development Center is a trusted, nonprofit, NAEYC-accredited early childhood education program proudly serving Washington, D.C. families since 1982. For over 40 years, GAP has provided high-quality childcare and early learning services for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. GAP offers full-year childcare, infant through Pre-K programs, backup care, nanny backup care, nutritious meals, and educational enrichment designed to support the “whole child.” Our experienced educators focus on school readiness, creativity, confidence, and developmental growth while supporting working families across the District.
After our previous childcare center closed, this center made the transition so easy during a stressful time. The staff was welcoming, caring, and patient, and they helped my child adjust quickly and comfortably. Very thankful we found them!
