I visited this giant on numerous occasions and on 03.10.24 was extremely disappointing. After a long day at work I had to pick up a few items, giant was nearest to my job. I got to giant at around 9:40pm, I knew the grocery was closing at 10. I tried to rush to get my items, but I am recovering from on my leg surgery that made me slower than anytime I come in. I got to self check out exactly 10pm and not a single counter had bags. I went to the nearest self check out that was open to the sole occupied self check out with bags. This due to limited mobility I saw it’s the best for me, easy grab the bags once the customer is gone. I had a few items that I had to search for because it was from fruit/fresh vege aisle. The employees see me scanning my items but everyone was preoccupied to get everyone out no one offered to provide me bags. I even put back items because I realized I couldn’t tote a lot. It’s not until i was about to pay I was offered bags. I was trying get my groceries in and try to make sure it’s even out because as I previously stated i had surgery on leg and I have a cane for pain. Mr ignorant security was huffing in corner and I was last person in grocery rushing telling me I got to go. I told him give a min I need even out what I carrying due I would say temp disability. Mr ignorant security, then proceeds nearer to me saying you got to go, tells me loudly ohh you ppl come in late to buy grocery. That triggered me I responded to him by calling him rude and he had audacity to tell me he was being polite; because he can just tell me leave with no grocery. This is when female try to help pack the rest of my grocery. I told him look I have a disability and I am slower he said I do not care. He continue to be rude and I called him out- proceeds to tell me you can shop somewhere else. I walked out in pain because I was rudely rushed out and I told Mr ignorant I am reporting him. Also not one employee said a word when he was rude to me or properly assisted me. One the one lady who asked which way I am going. She escorted me out and I asked her you allow him to speak to me like that is unacceptable. I heard her mumbled something I think I’m sorry not sure and I made sure he heard I will report him. I looked at my clock to see what time it was and this happen in a span of 12 mins In my many years in service industry I will never treat anyone the way he treated me or tolerate a customer to be treated that way. Especially if they got a any form of disability. Mine might be temporary but it has been long recovery road, this was unacceptable.

SOME of the staff are super friendly, love them as I visit frequently they are always so nice , Rhonda , Darius , Sheree to name a few . But the reason for the two stars is because of all the EXPIRED AND MOLDY FOOD that comes out of this store on several occasions I’ve had to return food that was past expiration date but what took the cake is the tortillas i recently brought in the midst of me feeding my children we notice the towards the end of the bag the tortillas are moldy which made me sick to my stomach being as though I had just fed them to my children . Had this been the first incident I would’ve let it slide . BUT BEING AS THOUGH ITS BEEN SEVERAL ITS RIDICULOUS

I love this store!! Every time I come to visit my daughter I love to shop here!!! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their selections are limited. But the customer service is AMAZING.

10/10/23 Me and my daughter was coming to shop as we always do since we live in the neighborhood the staff is always great but the security guard they have he always makes us feel very uncomfortable watching us as if we’re thieves he didn’t bother anyone else in the store of different minorities but us being African American we were watched like a hawk I purchased my items and then went to the customer service area to grab something after we finished as me and my child walked out the store he loudly stopped us and asked what was in my bag as if I wasn’t a few minutes ago at the self check out and purchased my items right where he was standing and watching then I showed him the receipt I never been so humiliated in my life after today this will be my last time ever going to that store ever again I should feel comfortable in any store I’m spending my money in & treated with the respect I deserve

since renovating and marketing a ‘grand opening’ you would think things would be better prioritized in management, more staff and customer service. nope!as my neighborhood store, i come here mostly when i need to and it’s not easy being patient at the amount of non existence in the presence of almost everyone that works herefrom management to cashiers most of their presence is stand-off ish and carelessyou will stand at customer service desk for hours (exaggeration) and staff will walk past and not even try to call someone over to help. to have to approach someone just for them to tell you to “knock on the door” is beyond meit’s inconveniencing to not get what you need at a place that has what you need but hey why should things have to change, huh?

They don’t check expiration dates. It happens pretty much all the time, that I buy something expired there.( when I’m in a rush to check it inside the store). The other day I bought a pack of tea there that was expired in 2021!!! The seafood department is the worst though. They are selling the seafood that went bad long time ago and already stinks. Also if you go to a cashier they scan the prices wrong. So almost every time I have to go to the customer service for a refund afterwards.
