Produce always spoiled. Clothes laid out like someone living there. Theft so high, they shut down aisles. Workers got attitude.

Went to the Giant Bakery to place a cake order at 5pm today and was told that the baker is gone for evening and the person that was there was new and she is not allowed to take cake orders, because the baker left at 3pm and the baker is off on Wednesdays, now how is this possible if the bakery closes at 8pm but no one is taking cakes orders at 5pm. The store needs to be shut down.

Good Morning,
I have been shopping at this Giant for 15 years because it's in my neighborhood. Normally I shop at Wholefoods, and would stop at this Giant to get items I ran out of.
I went there yesterday to get about 6 items. I stopped there after getting off work with my work bag which is a backpack.
The guard lady who was standing at the entrance said I can't take my backpack inside the store and I can leave it with her.
Number one, why would I leave my backpack with someone I don't know and trust? I said okay and left to put my bag in my car.
Now as I was leaving, I give my receipt to the guard guy and I saw an African American woman entering the store with a backpack. This same guard lady came quickly to the guy and said " you think I should tell her about that backpack?"
I am standing there shocked. I didn't say anything and I left.
The woman was allowed to continue on with her backpack.
Now this begs the question, was I treated differently because of the way I looked?
I don't do reviews but I felt like I need to, because of what I experienced yesterday.
I have never had any issues while shopping at this store prior to yesterday 8/10.
I am aware that the store is having all these safeguards in place to prevent thefts. Please treat people fairly.

Tasha is always helpful and considerate. She makes my shopping experience more pleasurable. Even when it's busy she displays patience and reacts respectfully.

They refused me entry because I had a bag saying it was a store policy to not allow outside bags inside the store even though my bag was for my Jtube that I literally cannot remove. They said I could leave it with security and even though I said I could not remove it they did not allow it.

Horrible! It's like a little prison. Siren constantly blaring, Much of the security act as if they are God. They do have a few kind and respectful guards. You can't take your own bags anymore. We all know about the prices. I think the only reason they get business is because of the lack of option.

I actually got profiled here and harassed by the cops over items I actually brought from this store. One of the worst Giant supermarkets you can go to. Do yourself a favor and try the inner city Whole Foods at Navy Yard. Unprofessional and absolutely disgusting the way these people act. Dirty as hell, eaten foods when you're trying to get things from the aisle and it's literally opened, etc. I would give this store a 0/5 if I could go any more lower. This place sucks.
