My organization began partnering with GlobalGiving in 2020 and we are so grateful. They helped us raise money to support students in Africa, and to provide relief (food, financial support) to families who lost their income when COVID hit.

Kind of like GoFundMe but the focus here is on nonprofits. Unlike some other sites, these nonprofits have to pass a very thorough due diligence process. So you know that your donation is in good hands. There are tons of smaller charities on here from all over the world, grinding out the daily work needed to move their communities forward. They send you updates every few months with photos, etc. so you can follow along if you want. The world can be a dark place sometimes but this site is completely filled with positivity and hope - it takes just a few seconds on your phone to donate and make a real difference, definitely worth checking out.
