Goodwill made it easy to donate my late partner's car. They contacted me very quickly after filling out the online form, and the towing company contacted me within 24 hours, on a Sunday.The pickup was painless, the driver called 20 min before he arrived and the transfer took no time at all. He was very nice and professional.I am glad that my partner's car will help people in need, and Goodwill car donation made it easy. I researched several options before choosing Goodwill, and I'm very happy with my choice.

I was moving out of state long distance and couldn't afford to take my older 2nd car my driver wife has newer car and this car had been awesome a 1997 mercury I plan to someday get me another one in better shape but these are great cars I hated to see this car go but it will be a fine car hopefully for the person in need I donated it to thanks for all you do -Loren P. Requested tax document as well as the donation acknowledgement letter, (2) items. Acknowledgement letter arrived in my email inbox successfully, but the tax document PDF was empty. I called several times, requesting other deliveries, with the same 1KB empty PDF showing "You must provide either an HTML string or a url (beginning with http) in the value parameter. To merge multiple PDF's use the URLS parameter" inside of the PDF. Clearly their tax document submission system is broken somewhere. After calling several times and requesting a JPEG image or mailed tax document, the manager, I forget her name, kept stating "I see your tax document just fine" in a curt manner. Yes-- as a technology professional I assume your view of the system is different on your end, but I don't have access to your system, just a broken PDF that's emailed to me. I was told a mailed hard copy would be sent to me... still nothing.I reached out to Colleen Paletta, the closest person to a CIO that I could find to let her know their system is broke, with managers who rudely state that everything they see is fine. No response, which is assumed.Clearly Goodwill needs some assistance with customer service courtesy training as well as IT assistance for problems like this....still no tax document and I'm tired of calling that number.
