GW Immediate and Primary Care is a valuable asset to the Cleveland Park community in Washington, DC. Conveniently located near the Cleveland Park Red Line Metro, the office provides immediate care services during the day, evenings, and weekends. The well-run office is staffed by caring professionals, including an on-site X-ray technician who can quickly confirm diagnoses. Patients generally report positive experiences at the clinic. The front desk staff, such as the helpful Tariq, provide polished and knowledgeable assistance, even going above and beyond to help patients find care when the clinic is at capacity. The nurse practitioner was also highly competent, able to identify and treat the patient's symptoms efficiently. However, some reviewers have had frustrating experiences, particularly with the call center staff, who were described as "clueless" and unable to provide accurate information. The front desk has also been criticized as "rude" and unwilling to listen to patients' needs, such as refusing prescription refills without an additional appointment. The manager, Ayesha, received high praise for her quick thinking and decisions that reportedly saved a patient's life. Overall, GW Immediate and Primary Care offers convenient and quality care, though the consistency of the patient experience could be improved, especially with the front-line staff.
Appears to be permanently closed. I showed up at 11:15 am on a Wednesday. They had a sign that said will return at 8 am. No one is there. The lights are off and the door is locked.
October 2024
Completely unsatisfactory care, communication, and cleanliness. I have a laundry list of reasons nobody should receive care here. Stay away from this place and frankly all GW practitioners.
September 2024
Very rude staff who hardly pick up the phone or make it easy to reach them
