This really is the worst bank and they have the nerve to be moving to the middle of DC?! I called and the guy couldn’t hear me? It hung up. Tried calling back and it’s just a silent tone. How is this professional. Every location is something different

Manager and staff are knowledgeable. I wish they extend hours 1 or 2 more hours daily and open on Sartudays. Branch should read this ?

Really poor experience. There are basic things I expect a financial institution to be able to achieve and HSBC US has let me down at every turn. I have been a customer of HSBC in the UK for 20 years and in that time I haven't had a single issue. HSBS US seems to be another matter entirely and exceptionally long wait times for wire transfers, expensive forex rates and poor admin have rendered the service unusable for me. I opened accounts with Discover Bank & Capital One and have experienced none of the plethora of problems HSBC gave me.

STAY AWAY FROM HSBC all together.It doesn’t even deserve one star.Horrible customer service, disgusting attitude of supervisors who aren’t willing to listen n help && with the current situation in Hong Kong I’d close up all my accounts n consider the credit unions.Better do it sooner then be sorry later on.After all every most branch reviews are having less then 3 stars n that tells enough about the this financial situation.There won’t be HSBC for much long.

Horrid service i sat in here being the only person in the bank for over 45 minutes for them to verify a check that came from an account that banks with them

1 star is too many for the enormous number of woeful experiences I have had with this bank. Every step of my daily banking is a nightmare. Their customer service is also catastrophic. I have been late with every rent payment owing to their incompetence, and their unwillingness to help. I will move my account as soon as possible to literally ANY other bank.
