Good morning. The entire staff was professional, courteous, friendly and efficient. One rep in particular, Ms. Princess Jones processed my taxes in a timely manner. When I walked in the door, the receptionist greeted me with a warm friendly smile and welcomed me. Ms Jones thoroughly explained step by step how my taxes would be done. During the next evaluation period I think she and the others should receive a pay increase or cost of living increase. Great customer service is valuable to me. We all like that from a company or organization. Good employees who provide such service should be shown appreciation with more pay. If you value your employees and want to retain them you have to pay and acknowledge how important they are to the success of your business. I was expecting such service and it was exceeded ? percent. Thanks Jackson Hewitt.

I will not be going back here. I went to have my taxes done and received an initial quote at the start of my appointment. After sitting there for 2 hours (when I was told it'd be an hour), I was told that the amount I owed was $630....nearly 3x the amount I was quoted. I have never paid that much to have my taxes done, it was ridiculous. I was really disappointed based on the reviews I saw here, but my experience was the complete opposite of what many have said here. Do not go here unless you want to throw away your time and money.

Tax preparer Iris Burnell thouroughly reviewed my 2022 tax documents. She explained filing for 2022 and provided information for 2023 tax filing. I was very satisfied with her service.

Exactly what I needed but didn't expect.So the filing deadline was approaching but I didn't have an accountant and I've had some bad experiences with some in the past. I didn't want to go to Block cause when I want there it seemed like I filled out this cookie cutter application and didn't get the right amount back. I've not verified that but it just felt funny. JH seemed possibly better...anyway I was right they are better. Anita helped processed my taxes in less than a few days and more importantly informed me on some things I plan on doing this year. I'M HAPPY! Thanks

I have been going to the Jackson Hewitt location on Capitol Hill, in Washington DC for over a decade. The staff is welcoming and professional. I truly appreciate Ms. Iris Burnell's knowledge and understanding of tax laws and the timeliness in which she prepares my returns and avails herself to me if I have any questions.
