Angelo is a phenomenal hairstylist and such a positive, radiant person in general. This was my second visit with him and I am in love with the results. Not only did I leave the salon with a bomb hairstyle, but also an uplifted spirit from chatting with him!

Everyone should book Brandon. I have about 4 different types of hair on my head between curly and straight and he gives me a terrific cut and style every time. Plus he's a doll. It was my first time at Karma Salon too and I was very impressed with the place - great vibes.

Best hair salon experience I’ve had without a doubt! This is my first google review but I wanted to share how fantastic the salon is and how INCREDIBLE Brandon is. This was my first time with the stylist, salon, and hair extensions generally (to add, my hair was in very poor bleached blonde condition), but Brandon was so professional and immediately put me at ease. He walked me through all the extension options and the process of ordering hair and scheduling appointments. During my visit the K-tip extensions were installed flawlessly and the color match was award worthy! I’ve been having my hair treated for about 10 years and I’ve never walked out of a salon so happy. If you’re in any doubt at all about the condition of your hair or next steps book with Brandon and he will take care of you. I’ve spent the past 6 months so self conscious of my hair and he has given me all of my confidence back!

Brandon is an absolute gem! I recently had a curly haircut and hair coloring done by him, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. His expertise with curls and his creative approach to color left me with a look that’s both fresh and flattering. From the moment I walked in, his warm personality and attention to detail made me feel at home. I’ve received so many compliments and couldn’t be happier with the result. Brandon is one of the few people in this city who understands how to work with curly hair. You can have a cup of tea and relax, knowing you’re in good hands. The salon is quite neat too!

Fantastic haircut by Nariye. I had very long, dry, hair and wanted a fresh cut with long layers. Nariye did just that with very little guidance. I will be back!

I have always valued Karma by Erwin Gomez as a place where we can go to feel beautiful and cared for. An experience I had last week put this wonderful feeling into an entirely new perspective. A close friend has breast cancer and was getting ready to start aggressive chemotherapy almost certain to cause drastic hair loss. My friend has always had long, beautiful, hair so this challenge required a lot of discernment on her part to explore the many issues concerning identity and self agency it brought up. She decided to get her hair cut and to donate it. Of course the place we knew we had to go for the cut was Karma. Because of their professionalism, excellence and, most importantly, kindness and sensitivity, my friend had a happy spa day and fabulous new look. Special and heartfelt thanks to Sophie Leal (stylist and advisor), Patrick McKee (stylist who did the cut), Marcia and Kellen (front desk), and to Erwin Gomez for knowing that beauty comes from within and creating a salon that brings it out of us.

This salon is just up the street from the Ritz Carlton DC. I walked to the salon and the neighborhood is very nice and a good walking area with wide sidewalks.
The salon is very well decorated and the front desk staff acknowledged me immediately and offered me coffee or water.
I had a pedicure with Marjorie during this visit and she used single use tools and the nail area is very clean and well decorated.
Please keep in mind that there is only one pedicure chair so make sure to schedule an appointment in advance.
There is an ATM located inside the salon by the front door and they do not allow for you to add a tip to the credit card, so make sure to bring cash for the gratuity or you can use Venmo.
