On the app, MindBody, I booked a trap yoga class. In driving to the location, I came to the realization that firstly the address enlisted on the app wasn't where the class was taking place. I gave Khepera a call and was told firstly, the address was wrong and secondly, the class was not happening. I wasn't given any notification of the class being cancelled. I was told that I could either attend a class next week with the same credit or I could be issued a refund. I elected to get a refund being that I was visiting the area and wouldn't be there for next week. A refund was agreed on. This was July 2nd. A week later, I never received a refund so I contacted Khepera again. I was told to share my CashApp via text and the money would be sent over. I complied and also included my receipt. I didn't receive a refund. Again, I contacted Khepera a week later and was told I'd received the refund by week's end. Again, no refund. I sent another message via text and I was left on read. I also requested the money a few weeks ago on CashApp to no avail. If you expect to get your money back, you will not. Wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone considering how poor the management is.

I attended Trap Yoga 4 days ago at Metro Bar with Brandon. It was my first ever yoga class and my god I cannot wait to return! The instructor is patient, fun, warm, and offers variations of all poses for ppl at all levels. My legs were sore for 3 days ? could barely sit on the toilet but today? I’m so grateful for that class because baby this body look SO good after ONE class. I felt like a new person leaving Trap yoga and I can’t wait to attend again. I believe he offers these classes multiple times per week in an indoor setting but after my first class being outdoors, I only want to do outdoors. The sun, the relaxation, the warm instructor and inviting class? 10/10. See you at the next class! ( I didn’t make it in the photo just my coconut water on the left ? but the instructor is in the middle and Carrie’s the smile during the entire class)

Just like another person stated, I hate to bash a black business but my experience was super janky! I cant speak for the studio itself but the side bar classes elsewhere are a mess. I signed up with a friend for a saturday class. Description listed the class as suitable for beginners and website states they provide matts to borrow which is great because this wouldve been my first class. A certain person was listed as the teacher and some other fella showed up without notice. That didnt matter to me but for someone who signed up for a specific person that wouldve angered me. The day before the class I get a generic reminder, again nothing stated about bringing your own mat but does state they will give our spot away if we are late to wait listers. Keep that in mind. We arrive to a restaurant and go upstairs. Everyone is laying out their mats and we ask for one to borrow. Of course they have none to provide. The random instructor apologizes and says we could ask to reschedule or ask for a refund since we could be accommodated. Side note, the area we were to use for the class was super small and already maxed out with students. We had another 4-5 joining that were late so Im not sure how they were going to participate but they made sure to tell us our spots would be given away to waitlisters. What spots?! They clearly oversold for capacity they couldnt accommodate anyway. I actually wouldve done the class without a mat if it was a studio and not a restaurant. Next day I receive an email like sorry we missed you. I respond like actually I was there and explain the above. The person who was actually supposed to be teaching the class responds like sorry but our website says bring your own equipment (lie) and we the website says we dont do refunds (another lie). Attached is a screenshot of the info provided when I booked the class and whats on their website. All of this is to say, janky customer service is why I dont even want to reschedule, especially with these side bar classes that make the actual studio look bad.

I hate blasting people of color but this business has left me no choice. I purchased a ticket for trap yoga a couple of weeks ago, and to my surprise upon arriving, I was told from another patron (not an email or the organizer) that the class had been cancelled. No email, no text no notification from Khepera wellness that the event had been cancelled. Further more when I reached out to join another class/request a refund, she responded weeks later suggesting a regular hour yoga class when I paid for a two hour session for me and my friend. I love supporting my own but her level of unprofessional has to be aired out. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY, DONT INVEST IN FRAUDULENT BUSINESS.
