I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get this location to provide my contact lense prescription after my annual eye appointment. I have been there in person and been told the doctor was not available, I have called numerous times and am never able to get anyone on the phone. They've promised to email it to me multiple times to no avail. If you need any type of assistance, you need to go there in person, and even then, they will likely not be able to help you. Will go out of my way to avoid having to deal with this company in the future.

Very nice and efficient! You don't need to buy anything there to go for an eye exam. Glasses and contacts exam with an optional $39 add on for retina picture was ~$180.

Ms. DEE at the G Street nw DC lens crafters store went way beyond her duties by replacing the lens and screw for my glasses today. These are Lenscrafterglasses and the screw untwisted and the lens came out. MS DEE EXPERTLY And patiently corrected this problem. Excellent job.

I had an eye appointment at this location today, and while everyone I worked with was great and very helpful, the security guard working in the area made me very uncomfortable. I had about a 10-minute wait to see the doctor after checking in and went to look at frames. I noticed him following me as I tried on frames and I thought he might think I'd try and steal something, but whenever I would look up at him he made a point of looking me up and down. After seeing the doctor, I was working with a sales associate to pick out potential frames. As I tried on a pair and we were discussing the frames, he called out "Let me see!" as the sales associate was talking. I thought it was incredibly inappropriate, so I ignored him and continued to work with the associate until I left. I understand the need for security in these types of retail environments, but I felt very uncomfortable by the security guard's rude and inappropriate actions during my visit and will not return to this Lenscrafters location.

Many thanks to Matthew Fisher for his assistance today (LensCrafters at Macy's on G Street NW, Washington DC). He helped me choose three new pairs of glasses from the many on display, patiently explained the different types of lenses, and the breakdown of the costs. I appreciated his suggestions of frames at different price points, and he was genuinely lovely in helping me choose the frames that suited me best. In the end I selected two designer frames for my new sunglasses and my new everyday progressive lenses, and a mid-range pair for working at my computer. I am really grateful for Matthew's product knowledge, professionalism and for his courteous and friendly approach. The whole experience was refreshingly positive and when I next need my prescription glasses updated I will definitely be back, and asking specifically for Matthew. That was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long while. Thanks Matthew!

One word: MATTHEW! ?I have had really negative experiences with brick and mortar glasses providers in the last few years but decided to go to LensCrafters to give it a shot. SO glad I did. Matthew was amazing - so helpful and patient as it took me an hour to figure out what I wanted. Once I figured out the look I was going for, he grabbed similar options for me to try on, and I ended up choosing his picks! Such a wonderful salesman and person. Will definitely be back to this location for my next pairs of glasses. Great work Matthew!

My first experience with Macy's Lens Crafter was amazing!!! Let's start with the professionalism of the staff Matthew Fisher and Dr Wen. Matthew was kind professional and courteous. He explained the tests that were being performed. Lucky me today was a lens special of 50% off. Dr. Wen was professional and explained the tests that he was doing and gave his honest opinion on my eye care. I didn't feel rushed nor did I have to wait beyond my scheduled time. The staff made me feel at ease because I was nervous. Bianca! Bianca!! Awesome services!! Bianca helped me choose a frame that was fitting to the style that I was looking for. She went above and beyond with her customer services!! Bianca even suggested transitional lenses. She explained how my prescription were going to be in my frame and all. She took great care of me!! Thank you Macy's Lens Crafter for such a wonderful experience!!! ??

The team was wonderful! Both the staff and doctor were efficient and kind in their work. Asked me lots of questions, inquired as to what I was looking for in contacts/ my eye health, etc. Am very happy with the results from LensCrafters.

B is a very knowledgeable associate and knows her product very well. She made suggestions. She didn't try to up sell. She compared prices between my insurance and the store offerings. When I left, I felt good about what I bought.
