The Lincoln Theatre is a historic DC theatre that has welcomed audiences since the late 1970s. Staff are friendly, super helpful and respectful. The theatre is located across the street from the U Street Metro station on the Green line and is close to Ben’s Chili Bowl. The venue offers a relaxed atmosphere with no specific dress code and several bar areas. Seating provides views from most seats, though the upper balcony can be hard to see for tall people. The soundstage is great and the people who work there are phenomenal. Parking is challenging, so public transportation is recommended. The theatre is great for comedy and live performances without stadium‑sized crowds.
Love this historic DC theatre. I’ve seen many shows here since the late 70’s. Staff is friendly, super helpful and respectful. Parking is kind of challenging but seems like a safe area.

Saw Hocus Pocus here and it was amazing! Only issue was upper balcony seating wasn't very staggered so if a tall person sat in front of you, you'd have a hard time seeing. Amazing show though!
