Little District Books is an independent bookstore that focuses on celebrating LGBTQ+ authors and stories. Was a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgable. Their selection was vast and they had many hard to find books I’ve been looking for as well as hundreds of niche books I’m now interested in reading. Would highly recommend a stop in!

10/10 experience, staff are kind and respectful, atmosphere is supportive and quiet, if you are a LGBTQIA+ teenager in the DMV you will love it here. Plenty of options with new and old, popular and unpopular queer books. Would recommend!!! 🫶🥹✨

The entire selection is LGBTQIA+ themed. Every genre, every shelf. I cannot express in words how amazing it felt to realize I was literally surrounded with support. Heading to Lavender Con today! (Update November, 2025: I've included a picture of their new storefront)
