I started this review months ago and never finished. That review had 1 star. As usual...this location is absolutely no help. I stood by the drills waiting for assistance. Someone from customer service called across the loud speaker for me and no one came..Now, December 24...I had a very pleasant experience. I didn't need to ask for any help. lol Well, honestly there were 2 guys in the floral department who did stop to answer my question, there was a woman who scanned and told me the prices since the plants were not priced.So, I must say I did receive help. Now theee best part! All of the plants were 50% off! I am in awe and so happy. So guess what!!! I'm giving 5 stars all bc of that. lol there was a little lady who told me "look the Christmas plants are 50%. I told her...and so are all of these." We both were so excited.

I needed some items to complete some minimal home improvement tasks and this was nearby me at that moment. I figured I could run in here and grab what I needed and be out fairly quickly. I was not.I ended up having to search for items in here, because where items should logically be, they weren't. I only needed those few items and it took me far longer to find them. Each time I looked for an employee to help me, it turned into a deserted area.I walked about in here, ending up having to go up and down many aisles before finding the items I needed. This was particularly frustrating. The only good thing to come out of this was being able to get through the register area fairly fast. When the cashier asked me if I found everything I needed, I just kind of stared at her and grunted out yeah. I figured it would not have matter if I said no, because there is nothing they could do at that point.

Lowe's is the only retailer that offers a particular Pella brand storm door. their process for pre-ordering estimation, and ordering took two months.They use third-party installers. In my case they used a company called all weather. The whole process was one of lack of communication, poor communication, and no attention to detail.I started this process with Lowe's in Gaithersburg, when the folks in doors and millwork were never available to communicate, I ended up working with the Northeast Washington DC store My experience with both locations was barely one star.Think long and hard before getting involved with Lowe's

After purchasing A refrigerator, believing it was new. Delivery person and myself in agreement. The issue could be resolved through customer service. Minor cosmetic damage you understand, but wiping some strange spill from the inside. Totally unexceptable. Expecting to be given discount or something in fairness. They refused. Don't purchase from Lowes .

The plumbing area is really bad and also the customer service. They never want to help you last time I was in the plumbing area and I saw two girls chatting doing anything and I asked for help and they were like oh yeah, give us a couple minutes and they didn't help at all. You guys need to order more products.

Like a lot of others, kind of frustrated with my appliance experience. Tried to order 3 appliances online. Website would not complete the order. Called and worked with a very patient woman. 3 hours later, 3 appliances were ordered. 2 of those appliances did come as expected. However, after 2 weeks, the 3rd, a dishwasher - has been a total time-suck and frustration point. Wasted a night at my house in another state waiting on delivery and installation only to be told (after I called at the end of the delivery window - no one called me) that it would not be delivered because it was not in the store for pick up (this was after several hours of calls to Lowe's and Mega Plumbing to confirm the dishwasher was available for pickup beforehand). Now I'm wasting time calling every day to try to cancel the dang thing after we picked up and installed a dishwasher from another store. They haven't been answering the phone. Was trying to avoid spending money at Home Depot but might be headed back there next time.This shouldn't be that hard with computer systems.

And we're back to 1 star.After almost a year of dealing with Lowe's incredibly horrible customer service, we are left with two defective doors and no refund nor compensation. We have been trying to work with Lowe's for the last 9+ months regarding our two defective exterior doors, which they acknowledge were installed incorrectly by the installer, and they have failed to make any attempt at remedying the situation. We are now exploring legal options given their negligence and unsafe conditions Lowe's has put our home into.For any type of major project such as windows or door installation, ABSOLUTELY AVOID LOWE'S. And don't bother with floor installation services. Prior to this horrific experience, we made the dumb mistake of considering using Lowe's for floor installation. It took us almost an hour to even find a representative in the flooring department. When we finally found someone, they couldn't be bothered to answer any questions.Know that these issues run company wide and are not exclusive to this brick and mortar location. There is a general installation phone line, which is full of equally useless representatives that claim to "follow up", yet I have never received a follow up on our issue, and this is after calling 1-2x a week for a year.

Lowes needs a better inventory system. I came to this location because the item I was looking for said it was in stock here. I looked, 3 sales associates helped me look and we couldn't find them anywhere. Not exactly sure how that works but I won't be heading to lowes if I need anything specific. I will say the sales associates are very helpful!

Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

This review is specifically for the appliances department, which is where I've spent a huge chunk of this year. First of all - the scratch and dent section for appliances at this particular location is soooo good! Like so good! I've been able to get a ton of appliances, all stainless steel for a SUPER discounted price. With everything working so amazingly well. Secondly - there's a young lady in the Appliances Department named Jessica who is AWESOME! If you're thete, ask for her. She's knowledgeable, provides good feedback on the products and can help in making some good decisions on the scratch and dent and full price appliances. And she's just really kind which always makes everything better! I've been to quite a few of the Lowes in the area, and this one by far has the most extensive scratch and dent section and I LOVE a discount!
