Decent, but more expensive and worse atmosphere than the Streets Market 5 min away from here.

Obviously a little more expensive than a supermarket, but they have a great selection. You would be surprised at the wide range of products they carry.

A great place for staples and wine. Larger than a convenience store but smaller than a typical big-chain grocery store. Quick, friendly service. It has just about everything you'll need. As a single person, I shop there almost every day.On the pricey side for many items. The quality of produce and meat varies. Given the neighborhood demographics and the fact several hotels are nearby, the store needs more pre-prepared, fresh food.

It seems to be a local supermarket with Asian people working as clerks. Although the store is not large, it carries detergent and household goods, as well as a small selection of Japanese sweets. You might be able to shop there in a way that feels a little similar to a Japanese convenience store.

Always clean and quiet with a decent selection of needed goods. Prices aren't too bad. It's like a grab-and-go place with very friendly owners.

The male owner of this shop keeps making the same joke that is NOT funny: Whenever he sees me pay, he turns to my husband and says that I am his (my husband’s) “sugar daddy”. It’s now happened three times. We keep giving him a blank face, we don’t smile or do anything that suggests we enjoyed his joke and he does it again. Why do we go? I used to go here when I was yet to discover Trader Joe’s and Wholefoods which are both nearby, have better products (definitely not expired) and are joke-free. Lately we had to shop here as we needed some items last minute. Won’t be making that mistake again.

You need to set expectations when shopping at a small store like this. For what it is, it’s perfect: Small but decent selection of everything, not terribly high prices.I wouldn’t do my entire grocery shopping here, but for the convenience factor, it’s absolutely perfect to go grab one or two things that you forgot to pickup. The owners are lovely and it’s always clean and quiet. I’ll happily pay and extra dollar or two in order to get something quick here rather than walk a couple blocks back to Trader Joe’s.

I am always surprised by the variety of items they offer here. Large selection of Beer and wine, chips and other snacks and candy, dairy and cheeses, bread, some fresh vegetables and fruit, lettuce, fruit juice, some fresh meat like beef and chicken, soup, pasta and tomato sauces, and other food staples and frozen foods like vegetables, fish and shrimp. They also sell convenience glassware, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and smokes. The walking distance location makes it convenient for me even if I know the prices are a bit higher than driving to Safeway or other competitors. Prices are similar to Streets down the block. In general the produce is good and appears fresh but best to use same day or right after buying. They have ice for sale and the store has an ATM. The owners are friendly.
