The worst clinic I have visited, don’t recommend it.

I just went back to this facility after not haveing been here for over a year. I met with a provider named Daniel. He was amazing. He took the time to listen to me and the problems I was haveing with my diabetes and told me we would work together to get me feel better and my sughar under control. I have never had a provider make me feel like they actually cared and I left there feling like he really cared for my health. He even followed up with my blood lab results a few days later and that was the first time in 6 years a medical person has ever did that. I am glad he is my primary provider and I will be returning to see him.

Great care, the receptionists however are very rude, particularly “LABRINA” or however you spell her name. Very unprofessional, does not provide information regarding the appointment and gets mad when questions are asked. Seems like someone needs more training because she has no phone etiquette at all.

Do not go here unless you want to be treated badly. These people have forgotten my appointments and routinely failed to refill my medication. The turnover in doctors tells you everything you need to know. And the staff are rude with an attitude. I was trying to give this place ZERO stars but the system requires me to give at least one start to post a review.

The care is great once you actually access the providers. The admin staff, however, seem either totally overwhelmed or completely incompetent as voicemails are never returned, messages given orally never make it to the providers, and appointments always start at least 40 minutes late. It took over five months for me to start a medication because of the organizational disorder.

Can you be heartbroken and in love all at the same time. I came for one appointment, and I just felt the most cared for I ever had before. With a chronic condition I see a lot of doctors. I had to change insurance and now can't continue going. Seriously wonderful care.

I have been a patient for years but the quality of this office has really declined over the past year.Specifically, I'm on medicine that should not be stopped or skipped (I have been on it for 6 years at this point) and could not reach anyone for over a week to request a refill, despite calling, leaving voicemails, and emailing the practice. Finally, I got someone on the phone yesterday, who said that Dr. Hebou had left the practice and I would need to come in to see the new doctor before I was allowed a refill. I was on my last pill, and I explained that I'd be happy to come in but that I needed a refill right away because I experience really bad side effects when I stop taking my medicine abruptly. She said that she "couldn't make any promises" and did not follow up at all.I called my pharmacy to see if they had gotten the refill request - they had not. I called back today, only to find out that they had refilled my prescription... to the wrong pharmacy. Luckily I got it transferred, but I will no longer be a patient here and I'd advise you to find another doctor as well. They don't take your health seriously and they're unresponsive.

I have a been a patient here for years. Unfortunately, the quality of care has rapidly declined. It’s rare for this office to ever answer their phones or voicemails. They bill the wrong insurance. They lose track of prescription information.I’ve had to start going to other offices and urgent care for check ups and treating illnesses because Metro Health will not respond to requests for weeks on end.I recommend avoiding this office and looking elsewhere.

TERRIBLE. I hardly ever write reviews but this place is awful enough that I have to. I was drawn in by the fact that they have a patient portal and my doctor wanted to actually have a televisit to review my lab results. WELL. Their internet connection is terrible so televisits don't work. And you constantly get emails that things (like lab results) have been posted to the portal when they haven't been. Not to mention it is impossible to get in touch with someone - my doctor said she would call me because her video wasn't working. I haven't received a call and constantly get sent to voicemail.

I have really enjoyed my experience at Metro Health. I have had all my COVID vaccinations and boosters at Metro Health. The team is friendly and professional.

When you can get into see the Nurse Practitioners and Doctors, they're excellent. Genuinely a pleasure to work with--but I've been a patient for several years, and in the last year something's changed. I'm currently waiting for more than three hours for a call back from a nurse about some lab results to make sure that they're correct, and keep getting shoved around to various support staff. If you leave a message for either a nurse, or anyone--they won't call you back. (Update now on hour 4 of waiting for a call back, and I was told that the office manager would follow up, still nothing.) The only exception to this is LaTasha. She is a delight, genuinely cares and is helpful, and deserves a much better job at a better location. Diamond P. below, mentions them calling her in the waiting room after she was checked in--the front desk staff did the same thing to me then interrupted my EXAM while I was getting blood pressure checked (came into the exam room twice, not nurses but front desk staff) to confirm my pharmacy information was the same. Like did you need that information at that exact second, not when I was in the waiting room for 10 minutes waiting for my appointment.

DON'T DO IT. The administrative staff are absolutely wretched--rude and unhelpful. While I've had good experiences with the doctors when I'm actually able to get in to see or talk to them (including Dr. Hebou, who left, as well as Dr. Shamkhani and Dr. Givens), it's a miserable experience to actually get an appointment and often impossible to get the appropriate follow-up. Impossible to get them to refill prescriptions. I've gone without needed medication when going out of town because it's so challenging to get them to do basic things. Recently, I scheduled an appointment, took off work, and came across town....only to have the woman at the desk rudely tell me there was any appointment. When they finally realized it was their mistake, no apologies. I had to come in three days in a row for the simple bloodwork and appointment that could have been done in one sitting. I've been trying for weeks to get ahold of the doctor to talk through my (alarming) lab results, but "she's only in on Thursdays" and "there's nothing we can do." I can make an appointment.....and the first one is in two months. Multiple friends have suggested switching to One Medical. I've resisted because I imagine it'll be like pulling teeth to get Metro Health to transfer my medical records, and I don't want to start all over, but I'm so fed up that I think it's time.

I have been a patient here for over 15 years. Never have I seen this clinic go down like it has recently. Since Dr. Hebou and the original staff left, the office is ghetto, chaotic and poorly ran. THIS CLINIC IS A CESS POOL. I have been on a medication for several years for my HIV disease and I called into the clinic to get a refill only to be spoken to in a rude fashion by the candy girl nurse Charles. HE'S RUDE AND INCOMPETENT. SINCE WHEN ARE NURSES NOT DOING PRESCRIPTION REFILLS? The new ladies at the front desk is a mess. The darkskin girl Janet is nice but the light skin lady yvette is rude and nasty. I don't know why they have her at the front desk. SHE IS RUDE AND NASTYYYYYY!!!!. It seems like every time that I call and or go into the office it's someone different. This is a revolving door of confusion and unprofessionalism. I have never been to a clinic that is poorly ran. IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE PLEASE GET YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS AND GET AWAY FROM THAT CLINIC. THEY EVEN TOOK AWAY THE FOOD BANK. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR CARE!!!!!
