My favorite liquor store in the city. They always have what I need. And the workers are not behind plexi glass. During this particular visit one of the workers talked to us about his favorite gins, he was very passionate and knowledgeable.

Great selection of whiskey and bourbon! Highly recommend this place. They have quite a few private barrel selections and have tastings of those as well. The guys here are friendly and will help you make the best decision. They have some allocated bottles, expect to pay more than MSRP but the lower bottles aren’t crazy. My go to spot now and I travel from Virginia to here!

Stopped in today. Overpriced and rude staff. Clearly didn’t want to speak. If you’re going to have liquors priced above secondary value, you could at least be nice to your customers who are enthused by your selection.

Not a good place to buy wine. The first time I went, the cashier did not want to give me the bottle of wine that I purchased online. I showed him my email receipt, and my name was clearly written on the bottle behind the register. He wanted to charge me again.
Then I placed an online order and got two identical email confirmations. The charge went through on my card and the order was picked up. Then I find that there is a second charge for the exact same amount pending on my account.
I was told to wait two days to see if the charge dropped off. This would not have happened at MacArthur Beverage, Calvert-Woodley, or Schneider’s. I will take my business elsewhere.

They had listed 2015 Amuse Bouche for $79.99 which is a steal and best price in the country so I call they store to confirm they had it in stock, I was told YES, then a placed my order for all 18 bottles… several hours later I called in to make sure they hold the wine until temps cool down in south Florida and I was told by the manager those bottles were sold to somebody else over a month ago. They had only 1 and he offered the 2014 vintage (inferior and not rated) at $140 each.Not a good effort to make up for theirs mistake. I asked if he could ship complementary the single bottle they had on hand and my text was never answered…
