I had appointment for my seven year old daughter. She was in fever and needed attention. First it was 20 minutes late and then very simply rejected by saying your Medicaid is from Maryland. This clinic was only 5 Miles from home. It wasted our time and I have to take my kid to another doctor after she faced severe fever.I don’t recommend this clinic

This CVS is truly a representation of the lack of resources for Wards 7 and 8. The carpets reek of urine, there is often only one cashier available and there are no self checkouts as seen in Wards 1-4. A lot of items are not stocked in the right place, and there are limited quantities of essentials. It's such a shame because it is in a convenient location.

Just don't go. Stock is low on so many things, smelled like urine last time I was there. Photo machine doesn't work (after I already paid and ordered photos online). They told me to reboot if I wanted to try to get the photo machine to work. (Customer being asked to fix their photo machine???) Got an email 3 months later saying my photos were ready. Wow. Avoid this place at all costs.

This CVS is one of the worst. They don't answer the phone when people are calling and once they do answer you will or placed on hold for hours. It is very disappointing that a CVS is located in an underrepresents neighborhood where there are already multiple disparities and access to food and healthcare services. And when you try to get what you need the services are sub par. They don't have certain medicines, things have to be ordered causing a delay in you taking your medicine. CVS needs to do better with ensuring everyone received the appropriate services no matter what CVS branch you are visiting.

Inside this CVS is a MinuteClinic that gives TB tests, shots, etc. I scheduled online and the medical professional was ready at the time of my appointment. I didn't have to wait at all! She was very professional and friendly. I was in and out within minutes! Free parking is out front in the large shared lot between Safeway, the library, etc.

THIS LOCATION WILL NOT FILL ANY PERSCRIPTIONS WITH OUT BEING CALLED FISRT REGARDLESS OF WHEN THEY RECIEVE THE PRESCRIPTION OR WHO IS WAS SENT BY. I understand people leave reviews when they are upset but this is a reoccurring( 5th incident in 10 months) issue that has to be fixed. On top of everything they are beyond rude... I audit stores for a living and this place is atrocious!!!! Love supporting areas in my neighborhood but this is my last time dealing with y'all

On top of me understanding this location, they are understaffed and have me wait in line with no other customers early in the morning. A tech is giving vaccine shots while another is on the phone. This is crazy. One of the two techs said they would help but they just worked two back to back days so she is off doing something else. On top of all this, I have a flight to catch at 10:30 at BWI airport and it's 7:42. This is the worst CVS ever and it's only two customers in line myself and another person and she couldn't help. Sad!!! Sad!!! Sad!!! I bet they don't think someone from the community is smart enough to write a review this details.... Lol. Oh well Being from the community this used to be 24 hours but due to something they aren't any longer. Just visited this CVS thinking it was 24 hours!!!! The new hours are opening at 7am and closing at 12 midnight.At least there was a sign posted. It is what it is....If you know the neighborhood. 1 star for everybody trying not to do their best!!!

Don't ever go to this location (CVS 320 40th Street NE, DC 20019). EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.Worst ever customer service and dishonest treatment. I live in this neighborhood and this store has a horrible reputation for good reason.I was forced to leave without my pain medication due to their unprofessional pharmacy staff. I left my dentist office and arrived at the pharmacy around 10:30am and placed two perscriptions to be filled. The female staffer told me it would take 20-30 minutes to fill. I said I had to get to work and couldn't wait. I also told her that I could come back later this afternoon to pick it up. The young lady told me my medication would definitely be ready by then. At 3:00pm I go to pick up my perscriptions and am told it will take 25-30 minutes before it was ready. I reminded them of what I was told and demand to speak to a store or district manager. The nasty female tells me it's still going to take about 30 minutes, then she writes down the customer servcie number on a scrap piece of paper, slides it to me and walks off.I go to the front of the store and speak with the manager, he tells me that he would go back to the pharmacy and find out why my perscription wasn't read. He comes back 10 minutes later and tells me it's ready and I can pick it up from the desk. I go to get me perscription and the same nasty piece of work first turns her back to me and asks another staff member if my perscription is ready. The she goes to a shelf and makes a big performance of pretending to look for it. Finally she comes back to the front desk and tells me to wait a moment while she services someone else. The whole point of me coming back hours later was so I wouldn't be late getting back to work.So now I'm back at my desk only one of the two perscriptions (without my pain medication) and charged a different price than was given me this morning. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!! THEY GENUINELY DON'T CARE!

I had an exceptional visit with Linda at this MinuteClinic location today. She was kind, patient, very thorough, and overall was one of the most helpful medical professionals I have ever seen. I made an appointment online and walked right in with no problems. Linda took her time to figure out how to treat me and did not make me feel rushed. Highly recommend.

I can only speak to the COVID-19 vaccination experience which was very smooth and quick. Apparently this was the first day this location was administering the vaccines, but they were quick and efficient. There was a specific check-in at the front of the store. They walked me back to the pharmacy area where there was a dedicated space to administer the vaccine. That part was done in 2-3 minutes, and then they asked you to wait for 15 minutes before leaving in a row of chairs dedicated to post-vaccine observation. There is a dedicated parking lot. Hopefully it goes this smoothly for dose #2!

I came in to get a TB test for my college form on Friday. The nurse gave me the test and scheduled the follow up on Sunday. I came on Sunday, but the clinic was closed. I came the following day and the nurse told me my test expired and she would not be able to read my test results. I explained that the other nurse scheduled me for yesterday but it was closed. She said she doesn’t know why she would schedule it that day but I would have to pay for a new test and not be refunded for my previous test. Why would you schedule my appointment on a day that you’re closed or give me the test when the 48 hour frame is on a day that you are closed? I could have gone somewhere else! I was not offered any customer service at all! This clinic also offers the most expensive Tb test. It’s $35 for the placement and $39 to read the results. The wellnessmart clinic offers the test for $39 and no charge for the reading! Do not waste your time or your money!!!

The most unprofessional ghetto CVS ever. They never answer the phone ,when you go in the store the lines are extremely long employees are extra slow on purpose.
