We went for dinner on a saturday night.We've been to many Morton's but this one didn't do as well as the others. There was a curtain up in the restaurant, and as more diners came they kept opening it a little more. Very distracting as we were sitting with our backs to the curtain.The steak was cooked perfect but wasn't perfect. My wife thought her prime rib eye had some tough spots.I had to flag down server to get another drink.It was too cold for outside covered patio but it looked nice.

Just got done with dinner here. I've had dinner at various Morton's so no surprise that the food was good but want to give. special shout-out so Saniah and Dreame for making my experience a very, very enjoyable one. For the ownership/management, please know that its people like them that keeps people like me coming back to you. Thank you, Steve

The baretenders were more worried about walking around then tending to the paying patrons. I had to ask for a steak knife, salt and paper, a 2nd glass of wine, a napkin and fork. Not once was I asked how my food was. Not once was I asked if i needed or wanted someting else. Pretty pathetic service. The only Morton's I would give a 0 star for service. The bar area smelled of cigar smoke until someone decided to spray something that was worse then the cigar smoke. I will definately not be coming back here and will tell me friends and clients not to go here too.....Dan and the other bartenders should be given a class on how to respect and tend to patrons.

We had a table for 14 people, and there was one waitress, and when the food servers came out, they had a food auction. OK who had the Caesar salad who had the wedge salad who had the house salad and finally when the steaks came out, We never had any sides for another 10 to 15 minutes, we couldn't get drinks, lacking silverware & water, the basic necessities, but the food auction to me is my biggest pet peeve.... They brought up Mineo extra plate of food. I had to send my State back three separate times.

Excellent all around, from our server Benjamin to their food. An entire page of gluten free deserts to their magnificent steaks... only humble observation, it would have been nice to have a couple of slices of a gluten free bread or simply crackers.

Great food and great service. Crab cakes and mini Lamb chops were awesome appetizers. Bone in tomahawk with Cajun mix was absolutely amazing. Great spot to be!

The service was pretty slow - it took over an hour to get our meal - and the food was average. We were also stuck in traffic down a couple of blocks away and the manager (I assume), threatened to give our table away if we weren’t there in 5 minutes, despite giving them a call in advance. However, the restaurant itself was very nice.We ordered the filet mignon with truffle butter which was decent, lobster mac & cheese which was pretty flavorless and mushy and lyonnaise potatoes which was also decent. There are better steakhouse options in the DC area.

Parking: Downtown parking is free after 6:30 pm. The food is great. The portions are perfect for the prices they charge, and the service was wonderful.

Out of all the fantastic restaurants in DC, I’m very confused why anyone would choose to dine at Morton’s. For the same price as a meal at Morton’s you could instead dine at a Michelin awarded restaurant, support (a more) local business, receive fantastic service, and eat incredible food. For instance: Tail Up Goat, Oyster Oyster, Revelers Hour, Nina May, Rooster and Owl, Maketto, Makan, Kinship, etc…The bad:They ran out of wine menus and it took ~20 minutes for staff to find us one before we could even start our meal. Wine glass was dirty and I had to ask for a clean one. Nobody told us the specials and had we not looked them up online beforehand we would have had no idea. Decor was old and worn, visible wear marks on all the chairs, the candle holder on our table looked like it was assembled by a toddler using spray foam. Water was not being refilled often enough, and our wine glasses were filled way too often. One time during my meal our wine glasses were refilled, then immediately refilled again by another server, before we had even taken a sip, overfilling the glass way past the usual fill line for a pour of wine. The whole time there was a general air of confusion, I saw staff just wandering around looking bewildered. Caesar salad could’ve had more dressing and the croutons were massive and difficult to eat unless you cut them, but who the hell wants to cut croutons. I frequently found whole entire peppercorns in parts of the meal, either from the cognac sauce, corn soufflé, or the ‘empire cut’ steak. It took around 20 minutes for them to pick up our check at the end of the meal.The good:Volume level inside was very nice, I could easily hear my partner at the table. Other than the caesar salad and peppercorn issue, all of the food was wonderful, however it’s pretty hard to f up steak and lobster.

The service was great and the food divine! We sat in the outside terrace and they had great working hearers that kept us warm. There was a special for two - specially priced with lobster tails and steak. It was so much food for the price.

Worst Morton's Experience I've ever experienced. Our server was fairly slow took 30 mins for a coke and a lemonade to arrive at the table. We asked for medium well steaks and they came out pretty rare had to send it back. Then our server was constantly looking past our table and serving others who got there after us. The whole experience was horrible lots of tables were complaining resulting in ruining our Valentine's day Dinner. Not to mention we were waiting 45-1hr for our steak to even come out and when it did we had to send it back because it wasn't cooked how we asked.

This experience was horrible and the representative were bias and rude. We received a call after we left saying we didn't pay a bill and we confirmed with receipts. The server took 30 minutes to bring cocktails to the table as he often forgot what was ordered.
