Had a wonderful experience working with Bianca, Manny, and Kevin (the manager) at this location. They each provided great input and suggestions while I debated on what frames to get. While my original frames didn't land up working out, Kevin was quick to assist me in exchanging it for a frame that was better suited for my face and high prescription. Every time my husband and I have come in, the staff has always been very welcoming and personable. Glad to have such a great staff so close by!

This was my first visit at this location and I had a great experience. All the staff was very friendly, the office was inviting and Dr. Dunn was very attentive. I had a very thorough and informative eye exam! Thank you!

Dr. Dunn is great, staff is friendly. Just a couple of FYI items that were extra expenses that you could opt in/out of- (1) in lieu of having your eyes dialated the retinal scan that they perform is quick and easy, but insurance will not cover it all and usually costs $45 out of pocket (2) “contact fit check” was not covered under my insurance and was about $90 out of pocket?! (3) was pressured to use my benefits right away to order contacts

I had an absolutely amazing experience at MyEyeDr. In navy yard . The staff there went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. From the moment I walked in, their warm welcome and genuine care stood out. The attention to detail and the level of professionalism displayed by the entire team were truly commendable. The staff's knowledge and expertise were evident throughout my visit. They patiently addressed all my concerns and queries, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed. What impressed me the most was their genuine interest in my eye health and their dedication to providing personalized care. Moreover, their friendliness and willingness to assist at every step made the entire experience truly pleasant. It's rare to find such a cohesive and customer-centric team that genuinely cares about their patients' well-being.

I accidentally booked an appointment for the Pennsylvania location thinking it was for the Navy Yard location, near where I live. When I tried to check in, the employee was so nice and even canceled that appointment for me, which I would have been late for, and scheduled for me an appointment just 4 days later at their location. They have a mobile app that you can check in on, however, it continually gave me an error when attempting to enter my information, no matter the device I was using. The receptionist checked me in without a problem and everything was a breeze after that. When I arrived for my appointment, they were fairly busy, and there seemed to be only one tech to do the initial screening so my appointment wasn't started for almost 15-20 minutes after, but honestly, since I work in healthcare, I don't expect appointments to start on time so it wasn't a big deal. Dr Dunn was very nice and outgoing. He explained more about the why's and what's of my eyes than I've ever been educated before. He told me a lot about his background which gave me a lot of confidence. After my appointment was completed, I did not feel pressure at all to purchase glasses from them that day or at all. I have been to eye doctors where it feels like they hold your prescription hostage; it's so uncomfortable and unnecessary. MyEyeDr was not like this at all. They have a great selection. The very nice employee who ended up helping me with my glasses purchase was honest with me about what frame looked best, again, without feeling pressure to buy. I took quite a long time to look at the different frames and make my selection and once I did, she was helpful with telling me everything my insurance covered and what I would be responsible for before I committed. They even fixed my current ill-fitting and very loose glasses. I ordered my glasses and they told me it would take approximately two weeks to come in. They have very convenient hours. Everyone was so kind and welcoming - I think I have finally found my eye doctor. :)

I had a great visit to the new Navy Yard location of My Eye Doctor. Everyone was so nice and helpful. This is a wonderful asset to the neighborhood.

Easy to make an appointment online, which I did. However, when I showed up for my appointment they said they canceled it because I never confirmed? This has never happened to me...They claimed I should have gotten emails or texts but I did not. They were not rude, but they were not apologetic and made no attempt to accommodate. They told me I could sit and wait to see if the person who made an appointment at my time didn't show up but after about 10 minutes I got up and said I would just go to another location. They didn't care at all or make any attempts to keep me as a customer and just said ok bye! I made an appointment at another nearby location in eastern market and had no issues and they were lovely.

Not sure when exactly this location opened, but it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I wasn't able to catch everyone's name, but literally every single person that I encountered here was so friendly. Dr. Jeremy Dunn is great - super engaging and conversational. He really made me feel both welcome and comfortable. It was so easy to sign up for an appointment online, and they were able to check my benefits and let me know whatever out of pocket costs I may have. I never felt as though they were trying to obnxiously upsell me on any products or services, which made my experience that much better. I can't recommend this place enough, and it's infinitely better than any other MyEyeDr locations I've visited in this area.

Awesome new location! Dr. Dunn was very friendly and the staff were so much fun helping me pick out the perfect pair of glasses.
