I have been a patient at One Medical since 2016, and the DuPont location since 2019, and absolutely love this practice! I am always so pleased with the overall experience and interactions with all of the staff and medical providers at One Medical. I truly feel like my health is at the forefront of each visit - and that I'm not just "another patient" being pushed through. I recently had a go with some post-COVID issues and my exam was thorough, but quick and a tailored treatment that is getting me back to 100% in a few quick days. Always have positive things to say about this practice and definitely a shout out to Dr. Lisa Olin who provides exceptional care for her patients!

Accessing One Medical professionals has been a breeze, thanks to their efficient system. The healthcare team here is not only friendly but also genuinely caring. I can confidently say that I have no regrets about choosing One Medical for my healthcare needs.

Such a great experience today! And let me start by saying, I've only EVER had good experiences in the 7 years I've been a patient with One Medical. A little background...I'm hard of hearing and I rely on lip reading to make sure I'm understanding what's going on. Then, boom....COVID....masks...everywhere. And masks were and are very necessary, but you see where I'm going here, right? I don't usually disclose that I don't hear very well sometimes...I just go with the flow. This morning, tho, I did, when checking in to have labs drawn. I let the admin person working the front desk, that I was hard of hearing and asked her briefly to pull down her mask, which she was happy to do (I'm super grateful...I wish I'd gotten her name). She got me checked in and I took a seat to wait to be called back. When it was my turn, the lab professional (I think his name is Justin) came over to me, rather than just calling my name, to let me know that he was ready for me. And he was wearing a mask with a clear window, so that I could read his lips; epic! Epic, because I didn't have to ask...he just changed his mask. Thank you so much for that!! As I was leaving, I checked back in with the admin person at the front desk, and just gave her a thumbs up, asking if I was good to go. She gave me a thumbs up, a nod and signed thank you in ASL (I'm also an ASL user) and I was on my way. Great job, y'all....really. Thank you!

I have been a OneMedical patient for 3 years. They used to be a wonderful clinic. Since the pandemic, they have changed business models to one where patients are unimportant and patient needs are secondary to harvesting our annual fees. It has become virtually impossible to schedule an in-person appointment. There are only a small handful of appoints at any location during an entire week. I have tried schedule appointments for an urgent medical need 3-4 times in this last week and every time, OneMedical cancelled at the last minute with no assistance provided to reschedule. The Remote Visit option leaves me on hold for 1-2 hrs before I meet with a doctor, who has then told me I have to schedule an in-person visit to actually receive any advise or help. No one on the medical or administrative team has been interested in getting me care. These types of issues are commonplace now at One Medical. I have needed an in-person appointment 3 times in the last 6 months and every time have had to finally go to an emergency room, because One Medical is not interested in helping their clients. All we are to them is an easy source of $200-300 every year. If you care about your health, you will find another doctor office!!

Never once did they reach out after seriously messing up my care. I thought of them when I saw the news about the mass shooting, since I lived close by when they repeatedly delivered purposefully worse medical care due to my political affiliation. I thought of them when I saw news of the shooting in NWDC. I don't think it registered with the doctor I saw: I got up, got dressed, came in, and told you I'm depressed, therapy isn't working, I've tried a variety of antidepressants, and I was terminated from my job because I stood up for someone being treated badly, among other things. I asked for a referral to a specialist and mentioned I was looking for work, and had applied to onto medical, noting several security vulnerabilities and broader design issues. Thus was years ago, but I really want to make it clear how personally offended I was, and remain.

On two different occasions I scheduled annual physicals only to not be seen once I arrived for my scheduled appointments. No reasons were given for not seeing me after I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes. I am glad my free membership has expired!

I've always had such positive experiences at One Medical. I've been a patient for 4-5 years and the staff are always kind, patient, and take their time to make you feel comfortable and explain whatever procedure they are doing. The waiting area and rooms are always clean and there's never too many people there. Additionally, the app is so helpful and useful and you can message any provider at anytime. They have a large selection of locations and appointment availability, and you can video chat a provider 24/7 which has helped me avoid and/or determine if I need to go to urgent care or the ER in the past. Definitely worth the annual fee and would suggest to anyone to join.

Dr Michael Glickman is hands down the best Dr I've ever had, and One Medical is the best care provider I've ever visited.

I've been a patient with one medical for 3 years now. They have well-trained staff, a billing/appointment system that works, a welcoming atmosphere and doctors that really do mean well. But time and time again, I get concerned about the abilities of their physicians. I've have doctors just get things wrong, never anything too serious, but where I'll just go to a specialist myself. Or where a doctor will (shockingly) say something different than what the medical field (and myself) mainly agree on (menstrual cycles). I'm definitely not an arm-chair doctor, and will mostly relinquish decision-making of treatment plans to the experts, which is why I'm so conflicted. I don't think it's a One Medical hires doctors thing, but a group of doctors uses One Medical services thing. So my recommendation would then be, I think the physicians would benefit from gaining a few more medical-life experiences and diverse settings. In college there was a joke about how the student health center always thought you were either pregnant or had mono, those were your only two options. One Medical is kinda like that. They're limited to their base (yuppies), so if/when you require a little more care for your health, it's frustrating. Otherwise, it's very convenient.

One Medical is a farce that i predict will soon go down. If you don't pay the $199 annual fee you have to always call. When you call the wait is ALWAYS so long the music makes you crazy. Then you take their option of leaving "a detailed message" so they can call you back, except that they never call you back! Thats bye bye One Medica for me. Your business model is a fiasco. Highly UNrecommended

I recommend One Medical to everyone. The doctors, PAs, NPs, admin staff etc. are talented at communicating and making you feel heard, which makes a huge difference. The app is excellent—it takes the stress out of managing appointments and treatment. I’ve also been impressed with their remote options and testing during the covid-19 pandemic.

Just had the worst experience at One medical DuPont circle. Let me start off by saying that my wife and I have been one medical member for 4 years. My wife is a essential worker for local biotechnology company that is currently working on a covid-19 vaccine. Her days are incredibly busy, like so many essential workers helping to solve this crisis. My wife has annual lab work she needs to get done, because of covid-19 her lab work has been pushed for months. Today we arrived at the DuPont one medical at exactly 4:02pm. The lab closes at 4:00pm. My wife explained the situation to the gentleman working the front desk. He said "you can come back Monday"... let me add the office was still open until 5:00pm. That was truly a disheartening and disappointing experience to say the least. One medical claims to put their patients care first but obviously all they care about is the yearly fee we gladly pay them. The fact that this medical group can not accommodate a essential working during this time and show some compassion speak volumes. It's funny how a companies true colors come out in turbulent times. One medical you have failed my wife and family, we will not be renewing our membership. Shame on you for not holding true to what you sell!

OK, so I had 3 not-so-great experiences with One Medical so they've earned a downgraded review. I take PreP regularly and get the required labs done every 3 months. One time I came into the office to get my labs done; my insurance deductible was going to reset in 2 weeks. I wanted the cost of the PreP medication to apply towards the following year deductible, not the current year. I was very clear about this with my PCP, who assured me it wouldn't be a problem as he'd make a note in my chart/file. Well it turns out that note was never read and they immediately sent the prescription anyway. It took several calls with Express Scripts to get all that worked out. Second bad experience: I've been dealing with chills for a while now. They referred me to an endocrinologist; said endocrinologist said my labs showed everything was normal and sent me back to One Medical. My PCP, Dr. Glickman, is currently out on paternity leave. I made an appointment at the Tysons location to see another doctor. He offered no real solutions other than to tell me to take my temperature when I'm having the chills to make sure I'm not running a fever. I've been doing that, have not been running a fever, yet the chills continue. Finally, and this part really bothered me and inspired this 2 star review, I had an experience talking to one of their virtual doctors/nurse practitioners. My psychiatrist prescribes me Lunesta and my PCP at One Medical is fully aware of this. I didn't pack enough medication for my trip so after waiting 20 minutes to talk to someone, I asked if they could send a prescription to a pharmacy near where I'm staying. The nurse practitioner I spoke with straight up refused. I explained to her my situation, I told her it was a Saturday so my psychiatrist might not see my email until Monday, and that One Medical is aware of this medication that I'm currently taking. She made something up about it being a controlled substance and crossing state lines. I've had multiple PCPs in the past write me prescriptions for controlled substances that were prescribed through my psychiatrist when I needed a fill and couldn't make it to the prescribing doctor. Also, my psychiatrist has electronically sent prescriptions, including controlled substances, to a pharmacy in Delaware before so she either didn't know what she was talking about or just didn't want to help me. Her manner was not emphatic at all. When I'm paying $200/year, I expect that simple things like delaying a prescription will be taken care of. I expect the same level of medical care I've received from my PCP at all One Medical offices. One Medical let me down one too many times and now I am seriously considering finding a new PCP.
