These places are glorified urgent cares. Not worth paying the yearly fee to then be seen by a PA who can’t really look past superficial symptoms and immediately resort to a COVID diagnosis. I went in with clear signs of an upper respiratory infection. After doing an unnecessary COVID test, after I stated I already took a COVID test, the PA still wouldn’t recommend antibiotics. After much back and forth and after the second (the unnecessary) COVID test came back she finally prescribed antibiotics. These places are not worth an extra yearly fee for the same exact service you’d get at any urgent care.

Dr. Ray Mooney, PA has taken amazing care of me! She is efficient, highly knowledgeable, caring, and thorough in her practice. Each time I’ve seen her, she has put me at ease about my symptoms and treated them immediately. She is patient, answers all of my questions, and makes me feel heard. I can trust that she will listen to the entire issue, and assess.

Dr. Camp is phenomenal, the phlebotomist for labs is always painless, and this practice is run very well. Easily one of the best primary care providers and practices in downtown.

I've tried to have a primary care doctor in DC outside of One Medical and it was a truly terrible experience. Overworked doctors who are only interested in seeing as many patients as possible, who ask you robotic questions while looking at a computer screen without any eye contact, an unwillingness to actually get to know patients, offering medical advice that's outdated or sometimes outright wrong, and worst, being arrogant and dismissive of legitimate concerns. Just terrible.I didn't have high hopes for One Medical, but I have to say, it's been a substantial improvement from traditional primary care. Even the NPs are better than the primary care doctors I've visited. Fully recommend this service,

Thank you to nurse Rachel Bachar and the wonderful receptionists for a seamless visit. Routine motions such as flu shots should always be this easy.

I've been coming here for two years and I love it. I love the easy access to appointments (and always within a few days), the availability of virtual care, the ability to email both the administrative office and the health care providers. I love receiving a summary of my visit and always having my lab tests and visits at my fingers. I've been to several providers and they have always seemed professional yet friendly. I love they have a lab with easy access. I go to the Adams Morgan office and the staff are lovely. It's definitely worth the annual fee!

Surprised to see any bad reviews here. I've had only good experiences with one medical especially compared to my last provider. One reason I love the practice is the use of their technology. No more having to call and be put on hold to make an appointment; just open up the app or website and schedule an appointment. Also, looking for results from your recent labs? Just open up said app or website and retrieve! This seems so obvious and simple in the 21st century but yet this is the only medical office I've ever been to where this is even possible amazingly. I've also been happy with availability of appointments. If you're willing to see any of their providers, I've never had a problem scheduling a next day appointment. Last night I was even able to do a video appointment after waiting only 2 min! I also really like their office spaces. Very modern abs spacious.

They're an odd place. On one hand they're very... customer service oriented. OTOH they're terrible about anything an actual MD could be insightful on, not a nurse practitioner doing a strep test during cold season. I asked for referrals for psychology care, and noted several security vulnerabilities in their software such as not using https + emailing STD screen result and prescription information, both of which I usually keep verbal because I've been hacked before. (Even if the answer is "all good" lol) They destroyed my trust in the medical system and contributed to me abandoning a lifelong dream of working in public policy, and I hope the insurrection made them think about the consequences of focusing things like using the correct pronouns while flailing on substantive matters like referrals to specialists that require more than nice words.

I honestly stayed away from one medical for so long because of the membership fee… but after an emergency medical situation and desperately needing an immediate appointment with a good doctor I caved. And let me tell you it is worth it hands down. I saw my doctor on time and right away—the whole appointment was spent with the doctor from the moment I was called out of the waiting room. And Dr. Gannon was so professional and was able to diagnose correctly what two medical staff from an urgent care had falsely diagnosed. She was very sensitive and caring. It was super easy to stay in contact with her via the app after the appointment as I had questions. She also made sure I got the offsite testing I needed right away when they were going to make me wait three days. I can’t recommend one medical and Dr. Gannon enough.

As another reviewer pointed out, they don't respond to email. If you're claiming to have digitally focused customer service, it's a red flag that you can't respond to an email.

Was given really irresponsible medical advice (to take an allergy pill every day for upward of 10 year (!?)). Thank god I didn't listen and went elsewhere. The Dr. was also supposed to refer me to 2 other specialists which never happened. Overall, bad experience and irresponsible advice.

Possibly the worst one medical location ever; the front desk staff is rude and act like they are working in the DMV instead of the the doctor’s office; when I was late due to a snowstorm and wanted to reschedule for the same day and also schedule labs they told me there is no availabilities and I need to come back; I opened the app and there were several openings… They have the attitude they just want to get you in and then out of there like a factory.

They don't respond. Simple as that. Wrote multiple emails to every email address they had on their website asking for an initial consultation, and never received a response. If you don't want email reach outs, don't claim you do on your website.

Love my doctor, but I don't love the fact that they moved their practice tho One Medical. Now, as a thank you for the additional $$ I pay each year, my earliest next appointment with my doc is 3 months out. Not sure what I'm paying for, but it's certainly not prompt appointments with your provider of choice.
